Yeah, for sure not a waste of time 🙂 You might end up liking another country “more” someday, but Italy is a very fun tree, especially their light tank ground units for me 👍

Yes it is. The 10.7 is fine because its basically just a worse 2a4 but with better armor (the 2a4 is still a better 10.7 tank). The 11.7-12.0s are useless.
The AMV is usable, not useless. If you’re a good shot you can easily get nukes with this tank. Of course we’re not talking about a tank that can be compared to other top tier MBTs.
It has an Italian flag strapped on the back and that’s all it needs.

completly fair explanation, however, same logic surely applies to Centauros or Ariete (P), all vehicles require good/specific playstyle, and you marked those green :P (yes i am angry that Leopard 1A5 is in yellow xD)
OSA might suck at close range targets but when compared to Rolands, its much better at intercepting long range targets such as A-6E TRAM firing Skippers etc. I personally have both gepard and osa in my lineup to cover all distances.

I’ve made the Ariete P and Centauros all green as those are 100% domestic hits, I do understand your point of wanting the Leo green too, I just wanted to show the OP that it isn’t the easiest plug and play experience. I see you dw.
True, at much longer ranges the Osa can work.

Italy was one of the most enjoyable tech trees I’ve played through to date, I used Italy top tier to play out the efv event, the ifv’s and light vehicles are just maniacally fun and can hit well above their respective br’s (I still have the aubl74 and c13t90 in my 8.7 line up) the arietes are more than usable I’ve had multiple 1st place matches with them with double digit kills.

While there are some lineups that are good, they are few and far between with long gaps. Its a hard grind with few rewards.
Imo, play Japan or China.
Japan has some decent early tanks with the Ch-Ha and Chi-To. Then you get the amazing 6.3 STAs with the performance of 6.7-7.0s. But the Ho-Ri production is what you are really going for. Best tank in the game for its br Imo. Stupidly good armor, very fast, and an average gun with a huge crew count.
China plays like a hybrid of US and Russia with each filling in gaps in the other’s weaknesses. Then you get to 8.0 and get the amazing Type 69 and WZ305.
3.7 Italy with double-double premiums i find is the best lineup for daily grinding and battlepass challenges, except for heavy-specific requirements. I used the Sherman I Composito, Pz.IV G, Sherman V, M24, M42 Contraereo, Spitfire Mk Vb/trop, and Bf 110 G-4. This lineup carried me up to 8.0 BR lineups.
I’ve also recently fully spaded my 8.0 lineup and i love it. The OF-40 and Leopard 1A2 are excellent at getting kills but lack gun stabilization, so you need to be cautious. Sometimes the 3rd-person camera angles the turret up, costing seconds before a shot. If you reach good positions early and stay proactive, you can destroy almost anything. The OF-40’s laser rangefinder is also a nice bonus for 8.0. and also the R3 T106 FA will almost guarantee you early capture points in most maps.
i would put the zsu and the mistrals as orange mostly because those are your only option for spaa, and because italy 8.3 doesnt exists. also you gotta make a note for the osa-akm because while the osa is bad, the foldered strela is still the best low/entry level sam in the game.
