Hello everyone, today i was in a call with my friends than one of my friends tested the F-117 GBU-12 Paveway II and find an “error”? the bomb just lost the laser lock even with the aircraft’s camera pod having its laser active on the target, we tried throw the bomb from 2000, 5000 and 7000 meters and almost every time the bomb just loss the lock for no reason, did someone know if is a glitch or something that really exist?
It’s a known issue, to go around this problem you have to drop the bomb much more closer to the target than the ballistic computer simulation is informing to your airplane.
