I have no personal issues with anyone—at the end of the day, he’s just doing his job, and may God help him.
But the problem is that he clearly didn’t pay attention to my report. You can tell from his reply to the first post that he wasn’t focused at all.
What I did was bring reliable sources that met the criteria. In fact, for the first report, a friend helped me gather a lot of sources. I know most of them weren’t the most credible, but they all supported the same piece of information.
So why did he ignore—perhaps unintentionally—the first report?
Still, to me, that’s no excuse for how he completely dismissed the second report.
If I’m wrong, please let me know. But from what I’ve seen, the vast majority of players are complaining that the developers ruined the new air defenses—especially the IRIS-T SLM.
Even after testing it in-game, it’s obvious that it’s performing terribly.
Pretty sure that those bug reporting managers were just told to ignore all reports about IRIS-T SLM. Because each time people bring more evidence that they completely fucked up that missile, they just write some non-sense and immediately close the report.
Sorry but you only forwarded 1 good source in your 2 reports, nd that was a Diehl press release. The rest were 3rd party sites, and you’re surprised it got closed?
Anyways, if you monitored the other iris t slm thread, the guys there actually took an effort to find good sources which had a lot of bug reports accepted
There are requirements for what sources are considered reliable and acceptable to gaijin. 3 party websites are not considered valid sources.
I think the only time the actually accept websites at all is when it’s the manufacturers website or the website of an army in a country that uses the system/vehicle/munition/etc. Otherwise it has to be publications, like books, pamphlets, industry magazines and things like that, it’s usually ok if they are in pdf form.
We have a group of users (me included) that have been focusing on finding sources and create reports for the IRIS-T SLM.
You can find a list of all the reports made so far and their current status here: (Iris-t slm)
It’s better to use that already existing thread than to create a new one, it keeps everything gathered in one place for easier reference and discussion.
The result is the same All rejected nothing except there is no point of all these reports
Your requirements are too demanding or unrealistic — it’s like I need to get an official statement from the factory to prove my point. Me and others keep insisting for nothing.’
So maybe I should flip the question: where did you get those numbers — 40g, Mach 2 — and why does the missile slow down to the point that it’s literally slower than throwing a rock after 12 km?
What’s driving me crazy is the Ka-52 and the Kh-38. How do I even counter that now? Give me a real solution. I’m playing top tier other than the mighty Russian nation
No.
There currently are 13 accepted reports, 3 that have been sent as suggestions, 2 without answer, 6 that have actually already been fixed and 8 “not a bug”.
We’re actively achieving change. Some of the things are harder than others, but still.
I’m not part of that decision, Game Masters only handle in-game chat and name bans. I have no connection to any part of development, bug-reporting, or any of the decisions for in game content (other than chat and names).
I’m actually one of the players that have been helping with the search for sources. I even found some that hopefully might be used: (Iris-t slm - #754 by Necronomica)
I recommend reading through the thread and discussing it there if you have anything to ask about or have sources to add.
The new missile systems won’t change anything regarding KH-38. This is a joke. The sole purpose of these new system was to keep russian KH-38 spammers in check. And now? Not a single missile is actually able to do something vs. Suchois which are launching from airspawn. Just Pantsir would be able to reach that far.
I hope they fix this. Cause otherwise the whole update is pointless. Also: Why are western missiles so bad? Barely 12km, some even less. Can just stick with Flarakrad and VT1, imho.
In top of that the demonstration unused kh38 got a gps guidanc if the target is stationary like an AA you don’t even need to use the laser on the cheep Spawn cost laser variant
And the ir variant if it’s lost the Lock because of smoke for example it will still go for the last know location of it’s target
