The only successful CAS ingame are the DIRCM’ed LMUR helis, the chinese Z10 (cause of perfect coned DIRCM) and the Suchoi jets spamming KH-38.
You only see those systems killing alot at top tier. All others don’t do alot and tbh…ppl even stopped bringing them. When was the last time you saw an AH-64, or Eurocoper…F15 or Tornado. Ppl simply noticed they have almost no chance and stopped bringing air. While sky is full of russian stuff.

I think he meant regular one rather than 64E.
no one really uses helis at top tier that are NOT equipped with LDIRCM
if you face other helis that have LDIRCM equipped you cant do anything agains them unless you got laser guided weapons, but even then itll be useless since they have to get a lock and launch 1 missile at you and youre gone
seen a few Ka52s in squadron battles because the vikhrs are the best weapons against helis equiped with LDIRCM, but if you launch 1 and go back into cover they are 100% dead and wont be able to hurt you at all

The missile knows when it’s being lased, just like an AIM-9M knows when a plane pops flares. It uses irccm to detect the ir abnormality and then switches to backup IOG and datalink. Unless that laser is strong enough to fry the missile’s internals, it’s not going to stop an IRIS-T.
This size is basicly whats required right now if you want to use LDIRCM to stop IRIST-T

It’s so stupid that BRMs can just spout stuff without any backup and expect everyone to believe them because they have no other choice. Gaslighting the community.
I suggest not making any further bug reports about the DLIRCM since there is an already accepted report about it Community Bug Reporting System

As long as that one doesn’t get closed too with said “argument” of the BRM. Maybe he just didn’t find all reports about it? ^^
Lately some of the guys bug reports are getting spawn camped, getting closed in spam of 1 to 2 minutes after submission, no reasoning behind the closing some times, other times the BRM put a placeholder reason then proceed to change / edit it afterwards.

I always laugh when I see that marketin lie claim.
They have so much inferior complex to point they can’t accept the fact that Western can produce such strong platforms while some their vehicles has fantasy level performance on certain aspects.

easier to hide a problem then to fix it
Ironically this is tagged as “developer’s response” and doesn’t come from a BRM but straight up from the devs :D
