Yeah, this is one of those video game concessions I am willing to accept, since all maps are 20x20 km. But knock on good, the nerf wouldn’t have been nearly as bad if they actually had managed to implement working Datalink. The reason it was so hard and miserable to use after the nerf was the fact that Datalink does not work, so when a target went off radar for a second and reappear, the missile would not change course back to the target. It essentially went dumb and flew only on IOG. Does that mean I want the nerf back? Hell no. The only reason this thing works at all is because of the lock range.
Everything i said was about 10km seeker.
We did extensive tests for the missles balistics to get it closer to sources

If you own it, and know how to play against it, then why complain? I don’t even complain about how BUK can literally spawn camp you in maps like Eastern Europe where you literally have no cover, and you will eventually die to splash, or how AIM-9X can annihilate you if you dare come in close.
They needed to revert the nerf because CAS is now stronger than has ever been, now that Japan with the Su-30, Grippen and the Eurofighters all joined the party. I don’t even know what you mean by “over the top”, this is what IRIS-T has always been since release, it is no different from then. And SLM can be taken out by any top tier helicopter, SLM is completely hopeless against DLRICM. So there is still that which balances it out.

I don’t need to improve my pilot skills and i am not crying, i adapt, as i always will. But i am not the average player.
I do rocket runs in the F-18C against AIM-9X and it works surprisingly well. Lazy CAS is punished, smart flying is rewarded. I can’t tell you the amount of times I see people just fly to space, dump Kh-38s and expect to come out on top. The skill ceiling is just way higher now, adapt or get left behind. Helicopters are always there if its too much for people to handle, DLIRCM is literally just a handout Gaijin gave to players.

See this is wild to me anytime I spawn a Typhoon I get focused up by all available SAMs while the Rafale/F-15 and even Su-30s are largely ignored.
You know what, talking to you is pointless, i don’t know if it’s your hurt ego or whatever, but i rather just set you on ignore and be done with you, it’s better for both of us.
Same here brother, flying is just insanely difficult now, but rockets make quick work of SAMs that are bunched up :)

Actually good to see they reverted the range nerf and accepted the DIRCM resistance report. Even with these it would still be sub-par to its irl performance because of it’s lacking energy, but it’ll at least be a proper top tier SPAA now.
