Yes. What else could be done? Almost every match a Mi28 or Z10 hovers up and kills you. While you just can’t shot them. Theyre untouchable.

Dude an 11.7 IRIS T SLM would be able to meet early Phantoms, F5s and stuff like that. Like im mad about the completely random nerf as well but lets keep it real

Make it 12.7, Gaijin won’t fix ldricm. Why bother with it? Also the IR nerf has made it so that it switches over munitions easier. You can’t make this sh*t up.
Edit: Make it 12.3, Gaijin changes BR every week apparently.

Yeah it really doesnt need a lower BR, especially since if you play 12.7 you dont always get sucked into the 13.0 CAS hole.
And if you don’t have the flakbus as well in LDIRCM territory that’s a skill issue.

When you spawn, you often get an Lmur into your face^^ Its difficult to play, since these super helis are around.

I keep forgetting the BR changes, Gaijin chagnes BRs everyday of the week and I get confused.
But yeah the IR nerf has completely butchered it. The missile will constantly switch to munitions if it loses a radar lock or it gets within the seeker FoV first, which is always the case since missiles are hotter. It’s the same principle as rocket flaring.

They have the same seeker but i can see how the higher closure rate on the SLM would help it reject countermeasures better.

Ehh… it was down to luck(and you needed a lot), at long ranges its very hard to see it coming, and most people that knew it was coming outran it instead of trying to flare.
Flare dumping defeats it even at close ranges but this change didnt help with that.

Not really, you are flying low and didnt get pinged then when you fly up to cas you preflare until you are sure there is no SAM
