Like, it smacks him. At first I thought that it tracks the belly when they’re flying away, but now according to sensor view it just smacks him on the forehead (as it should). Given that I launched like 6 in total in this pest. So my advice against them if they aren’t crawling up on you - space your launches, best worked for me - launching 4 to make his pants a little more brown than they already are, then if not a single one connects - space your launches by 3-4 seconds and keep blastin’. Worth noting - keep one or both of your launchers as low as possible to correct for the vertical take off distance of your missile, helps in CC and in general as well.
Here’s some more for good measure. Close up POV.
I think that’s the blind spot it does have, you can’t see it on stashark but from datamine it doesn’t cover the whole elevation spectrum, leaving a blindspot dead in front and behind it.
Someone made a drawing once to show where it is but i’m pretty sure it was front and back, but it’s small and you need to get lucky.
Helis quickly run out of CMs. When you fire 2-3 missiles with a slight delay, they get through, cause these autodispensers are not exactly conserving “ammo”.
What about DIRCM? I mean currently ingame, it fails against everything that has DIRCM rendering it completely useless. It’s not 100% proof but it has capabilities of actually getting close / hitting DIRCM protected targets.
