Iris-t slm

Yeah ive noticed this with both IRIS-T slingers in game, its weird, when a target is further away it lofts twice. Elde Does it but a bit smaller amd the SLM is much more noticeable

As someone said they just copy pasted fox 3 loft that’s why missile need to go horizontally first before it loft like fox3 but aggressively they just did it easy way

Oddly enough, just going by preliminary data (which is going to be wrong in the long run due to bigger bugs/issues at update launch as well as everyone playing stock vehicles at the start) the EldE is actually performing quite well in comparison to many of the other new SPAA (if i remember correctly only the SLM is doing better). Go to Statshark, filter by rank 8 and sort by kills/death or kills/spawn. Will be really interesting to see how it looks for next months numbers once a lot of the issues/bugs are ironed out and players are no longer stock to the same extent.

Jesus, this sounds like it comes from an schizo person, next month? Bug/issues fixed?
All I see is before Accepted reports getting changed to not a bug / not enough data.
since we forgot that Snail is an tiny Indie developer

I mean comparatively to what it was at launch. Even if there still is a long way to go there have been some fixes/changes that will inevitable effect the average numbers by quite a bit in just a months time. Hence why it will be interesting to see how well the new AA systems perform compared to the absolute initial numbers that were gathered when they had ALL the issues present (but also before CAS players have had a chance to learn how to at least to some degree counter them).

(Additionally, please refrain from using that word, it is considered offensive to insinuate that other users have illnesses)

Hmmm, they seem to cook something…

Smokeless motor for IRIS-T SLM coming and condensation trails depending on the weather or altitude? 🤔

Let them cook.

my guess is that, once again, they tried to keep it that way for balance purposes yet refuse to admit to it

It’s totally possible, but yet again, AIM-9X is totally smokeless and gives no warning in close range, so who knows.

yeah smokeless
it would also get a contrail tho but my post got deleted 🤷‍♂️

The strange thing is that there are quite alot vids about live fire tests. Aim-9M, 9X etc. which show them having clear smoke trails.

Is it possible WT got it wrong and smokelss means irl just smoke reduced?

the 9M in game has that tiny smoke trail. it is modeled that way

But irl you really see a dense white smoketrail off the rail. Maybe someone can link a live fire vid where you just see nothing, as we’ve got it ingame.

thing is
its either smokeless with condensation in certain situations
or its not smokeless in all situations

Maybe thats it. For Iris there are also vids like this were you almost see nothing like in this F-35 launch vid. Others show a smoke trail. So what is it now. Confusing.

SLM or SLS/A2A

cant be used as a source since there is no gulf of mexico

Hello @Smin1080p_WT
I’m really wondering how you can correct something with a new bug report if a bug report manager points you to an old report answer that is obviously wrong? I created a report (Community Bug Reporting System)
that shows a direct source from Diehl Defence confirming that the IRIS-T SL missile is immune/resistant to blinding lasers. Then I’m simply redirected to a report from a month ago where the answer is simply wrong.

It doesn’t make sense that, according to this report Community Bug Reporting System, the standard IRIS-T will be immune to LDIRCM, but the improved IRIS-T SL missile won’t.
The IRIS-T SL Missile is resistant/immune to LDIRCM. I don’t understand how they can simply ignore such a source and point to an old report…
And please don’t reply with “Report comment function.” I recently reported a comment from a report manager, and nothing has happened since.
