Anti-radiation missiles are definity coming due to how crucial it is in taking out SAM systems.
And what if lets just say I kill one IRIS-T then die and then spawn my aircraft and then another player spawns an IRIS-T…
Yes they are huge but also hard to kill from the ground as unless they are in the open are usually hidden behind rocks/buildings and you need to kill the Radar vehicle.
How are you spamming AMRAAMs at a target on the ground?
u wait for the slm to launch a missile and u soft lock the missile in tws , spam all missiles at the first missile or try to switch to the other missiles and spam all of your amraams. i have tried this in the su30sm/f16c. u have to narrow your radar’s search width.
Now to hope it gets implemented soon, need so many bug fixes on these new spaa…
very curious about how long it will take for them to apply these accepted changes and new mechanism fixes.
Years
Not until IIR is added. I am guessing either another two patches before that happens.
Tbh gaijin rushed these new sams so fast some of them are barely even functional.
the IRIS-T radar really do be strugglin to properly track anything that isnt going 30kmh
But laser CM’s work perfectly fine…

No, they’re bugged too but their buggyness makes them OP instead of broken → blinds everything in a sphere in parallel at the same time instead of only one target at a time.
hey i just started playing and noticed something major with the IRIS-T SLM right now the missile feels bugged it doesn’t proxy when it clearly should and it doesn’t pull anywhere near what it’s supposed to it’s listed as a 40g missile but in every engagement i’ve tested it never broke 30g and most of the time it maxes out around 25g on top of that the timing of its pull is completely off it only starts maneuvering hard very late like within 1km or even 500m which is far too close especially for a missile that isn’t reaching its claimed g limit this delayed makes it miss even basic munitions interceptions that it should be handling with ease and because right now it’s not behaving correctly and its shame man
and funny thing is i didn’t even want to shot the kh38mt i shot at su34 and this bugged compo of weird Rader+missile is just making it not perform as should be and the switching target thing is really disgusting
I actually noticed this with both IRIS-T, when testing the Elde with my friends SLM we often only pull about 75% to 60% of our max G even at close range.
um can someone bug report it now because we’re experiencing these kinds of problems and bugs like underperforming g turns and radar randomly switching targets i think this is where we need to start to somewhat fix the issues the slm is facing right now i would’ve done the bug report myself if i knew how since i’m kinda new here and don’t have much experience yet but if we do this maybe snail will bless us with a quick fix and at least solve some of the major issues the slm has i know there are a more bugs and problems with it but this feels like a good starting point would you guys agree
if these were on maneuvering targets it would be kinda dirty because when i use the type 81 that missile uses 110% of its turning performance as in pulling 40g or more and it’s a 35g missile and not only pulls high g but sustains that for a long time until it runs out of energy same as the strela missile it’s rated at 20g but can easily hit 25g or higher and that thing pulls right off the rail same as the ty90 it’s a 20g missile but can pull more it’s weird man because these don’t even have tvc systems but are still able to pull more maybe that’s why they’re afraid of missile spin off like with the early r73 but that doesn’t mean after the burn when tvc is off it can’t pull 40g because the irist can still reach mach 2 until like 12km or something and that’s enough energy for the slm to pull its max g
:( can someone do the bug report on how slm can’t hit its spoused 40g thats good start and how Rader make it swich target instead of the one fired on we want slm to good not some goof ball hit or miss kinda missile and
thx you
