The functionality in third person is just non existent. When I drive and spot a target I might click the center mouse button 1000x but it simply doesn’t lock. Despite the functionality bar on the bottom clearly shows this option: ‘Radar target lock’ @ center mouse button.
Someone wrote there’s at least a way to cycle through all radar contacts: What’s the name of that keybind @ control’s setup screen? GRB is a fast paced game mode and some quick reaction options would be really nice.
No… You have actually already tracked a target from a third person perspective. He has already selected a target in the thumbnail radar image in your upper left corner. Here
Did you notice any difference? There are no short vertical lines on either side of the other green hollow circles, which means the radar saw them but did not lock them like Panstir, which is very different from the hard locks of other SPAA
You can change the current tracking target through something called radar/switching target locking or something in the option settings, although it may appear confusing when facing too many targets.Try entering the Radar Control Screen, it might be better, I guess?
And I guess the third person lock function you mentioned is specifically designed for fire control tracking radar? I have never seen other SPAAs that only have search radars with third person locking capabilities (although they added this ability to ADATS in this version update)
Some maps are small and pit-like. 38th Parallel comes in mind. Low flying targets might suddenly appear from behind some cliffs or mountains. When you see a threat like this, you better have some quick options to just shot. You control this whole multi vehicle SAM thing, it should be possible to just hardlock/softlock the target you want. Right now the client locks one target for you and keeps it locked until its gone. It doesn’t feel right.
I guess what they mean is that they need more time to improve the relevant content, but I’m still curious why they are eager to launch a semi-finished DIRCM system
GAIJIN always like this, not to mention the bug with the proximity fuse of the missiles still hasn’t been fixed. considering wt profit ranking on Steam, I really doubt where they’re spending the money.
Well it depends on the launch range but I will say 70% a lot better than before it was just going though it I mean even right now it is sometimes just passing through stuff
