@WreckingAres283
Do you have any information on this or what it means exactly?
maybe.
but makes we wonder how they still struggle so much with radars sometimes. Its not not like AESA is a new thing that just came out.
Not to mention that the the airborne radars like the one one the Rafale seem to work very well.
I like to think that the codebase always only accounted for air to air detection, not air to ground one (vice versa) with multiple tws pings, buuuut what do I know tbh
Meanwhile its still on the Pantsir and its broken
It’s not TWS ESA. It is a different mechanic, that gives the same effect.
It is possible they will refuse the bug report as it is technically not a bug but intended
I made a suggestion to do exactly what you describe in your message here : Missile tracking camera for fire & forget surface to air missiles

The only gripe I have with the radar screen (and the radar in general) is that, you cant prio. any targets so your radar switches around constantly when new targets appear…
So, big issue, the Missile phases trough enemy aircraft for some reason and proxy just doesn’t exist.
This guy should have been dead 4 times over, this is ridiculous.
That’s been known here for a while, tho as far as I know gaijin doesn’t seem to think this is an issue for ground to air missiles. Time will tell
Feel like the missile is effective until some rocket or KH38 is fired- it just confuses the missile somehow into missing
Report for missile phasing trough and not fusing properly

Hello, I made a Bug Report on this since the Model does not Jettison the nose cone. Check it out

Good
So they modeled the IRIS-T with proxy fuze only while it should have both proxy and impact fuze?
Well have to see once they fix them, at 12.0 it seems they dont behave the same and are quite reliable
The radar is really disappointing. Pantsir TWS scan shows you all contacts in third person. As green brackets, including incoming ordnance. Dunno why the SLM radar is so basic. You don’t even have the good old radar screen in third person, as you have with every other SPAA. Situational awareness outside the new radar operations screen is absolutlely zero. It just shows you one target with very, very bad update rate.
Im trying to work on this one.
We do testin if they accept
TRML-4D should show all TWS targets

we also do need sustainers currently missile loosing all the air speed around 22km where effective range should be 40 km
