For potential future reference in case they butcher the live version in terms of range.
It straight up has 40km EFFECTIVE range NOT max. range. (max. is probably <50Km)
“IRIS-T SLM, consisting of the components missile launcher, radar and tactical operations center, is designed for the COUNTERING of threats posed by enemy aircraft, helicopters, missiles and drones AT a range of up to 40 km and a height of up to 20 km.” :
5000 Km² of PROTECTED area (Which would mean a circle with a radius of ~40km):
“It provides 360-degree all-round protection from close to medium range (effective range 40 kilometers) and combats enemy aircraft, helicopters, cruise missiles and guided missiles, including short-range ballistic missiles.” (also indicates interception capabilities just in case)

Well they claim it’s for historical accuracy when it’s not, I, as well as many others, share the same sentiment that if they are keeping it at 13g max for balance and br reasons then they should just say that and most of us will be happy. Instead they use Russian sources to try and say the stinger could never reach 22g because the igla couldn’t either.

I used your picture and got that the slm has 2.12 times the volume of the normal one. From the picture I got a diameter of 185mm.

heres an orthographic image of IRIS-T SLM. with a length of 3,45m you can easily calculate the diameter
~7inches or 17,78cm

The total impulse of the motor is now 151.2 kNs vs the old 148.1 kNs, so it’s actually better now.

Where/ how you getting these infos, I was fully prepared for the Slm to be same as on dev server ( gimped as hell )

Yeah but it doesn’t have a sustainer anymore. Altho i am not certain if SLM has it IRL

The main booster lasting 2.25 time longer will effectively mean it burns longer overall now than it did with the sustainer back on dev no? (So a huge buff to hitting targets further out)
