They accepted a lot of bug reports that would fix/buff IRIST SLM. It will definitely be competitive IF they actually decide implemented them. But its seems max G will stay at 40 unless someone find new evidence.
You know one of the sad and funniest things is WT claims itself as “Realistic Military Vehicles Online Combat Game”
But in fact, they need players to report stuff and not clarify sources or data by themselves
nevertheless they chose to do changes based on their interest and preferences
you can also add
Guidence: IR+DL+INS+GPS, not IOG+IR+DL

so its not having real datalink yet? function like strela?
well, our DL is an DL…
its has just some issues xD
The Radar is also missing some things like vertical scan and backscan (like the new type 81) and you also forgot to add range to your list.
In general the SLM is a driving load of horseshiet rn, its a glorified strela (tho the strela actually works)
Ig Strela with contrast seeker is likely better than the whole multi vehicle IRIS-T Sl system from 2020ties^^
yes obviously, strela is much more advanced than one of the most modern sam systems
There are few reports about missile speed and range that got accepted finaly. First states that missile can hit target 30 km away with flight time of about 1 minute, while in game missile reaches 25 km in 80s and basicaly stalls. Second one just states that missile should be able to reach 40km, yes please, would be very nice.

Also in second report it seems that there is at least some plans to make changes to the missile as they have some kind of “internal report”, lets hope for good news soon
it’s so clear to see they have bias in it
The first response is not enough info
not only untill you do math in it then they decided to think more
IRIS-T SLM, a state of the art surface-to-air missile, featuring missiles that stall out and fall out of the sky at 10 km, watch out for them!
Bruh like the heccin manpads and m1 armor explanations werent guesses and estimations. Nice hipocrisy glubplub
Huge W
Let me just say they are all busted and in now way compete with what Pantsir can do sure Spyder is really good at close range right but the whole point was to defeat long range ATGMs such as the KH38MT
Gaijin, did you hit your head on a tree or something? What have you turned the IRIS-T into? Why the hell does the missile lose all its energy after just 10 km? The manufacturer states a range of 40 km—how is it that in your game the missile can’t even catch up to a plane in a straight line after 10? I get that 40 km might be unrealistic for the game, but it should at least reliably hit targets at 15–18–20 km!
it hit manoevering targets at ranges of 40km so Gaijin is just incompetent to model anything from NATO
