Where’s this entitlement coming from, you have a literally unparalleled AGM, that no spaa could counter effectively until hopefully now, no other nation even poses as much of a threat with their cas.
You’re gonna get your multi vehicle spaa as well, maybe wait a year just like we had wait for an answer to the KH, which got buffed again btw, and will keep getting buffed.

well other nations TO THIS DAY dont have AA that matches Pantsir in range (until Leviathans drop).

Is the Kh-38 an entirely different mechanic from other AGMs? No.
Is the Pantsir unfair? Yes. Is it a new mechanic? No.
They better give us better spawn zones or entirely new spawn locations, or else this will be the norm with SLM. The struggle to remain hidden and not spotted will be insane. It’s already bad enough for regular SPAA.

so fairness should be given between major nations but not minor? that’s an interesting take
War thunder isn’t usually fair for a lot of stuff, remember the nerf to the Abrams and Leo turret ring?
While i do like the realistic turret, it’s def unfair that the USSR didn’t have the same happen to their tanks since gaijin said it takes time and that it will come eventually
Germany and USA didn’t have anything like the Pantsir yet it still got added, they could have been given the Tor instead like China for fairness but that obviously didn’t happen
Well, i’ve also mentioned on a different post that i’m not a fan of Germany being the only or one of very few that gets a 40km range, difference being i think all nations that have an option for it should have it and not only the USSR or Major ones
My main nation is Sweden and i don’t find the Elde98 that great + i’m not sure if i’d call it a multi-vehicle SAM
My germany isn’t even fully researched and i’m stuck using the FlaRakPz, so i still got a way to go before i can even research the SLM when it gets added
My USSR, Japan and Italy are around top tier, yet my only SPAA worry is for Italy since it will only have the Otomatic, i’d say they are way more in need of a new SPAA
Pantsir will still be quite competetive compared to the rest of the nations so i’m not concerned about the them for now

But for some reason Gaijin doesn’t really seem to care about balance/equality when it comes to certain things in WT
At the end of the day, USSR will get Multi-vehicle SAMs eventually and so will other nations too but for now, as some other nations have to do, you’ll just have to wait for it
I do not think fairness should only be applied to major nations. However, there are tiers of nations.
Germany, Russia and the USA are obviously a step-above other nations in popularity, these are the three major nation in my eyes. If something is given to one of them, a similar thing must be added to the other two, especially for mechanics. Then, these mechanics will be added to more minor nations over time.
I am not concerned over the effectiveness of Russian anti-air installations. I just want the mechanic to be universally applied to equal nations (as in, all majors or all nations or all minors).

The USSR / Russia is significant enough that if major nations are receiving a new mechanic, it should receive it at the same time.
yeah we differ a bit in that regards, i prefer if all nations have a somewhat similiar effectiveness unless they simply lack the capability/means to it
if a minor nation lacks something but there is something IRL that would give them a much needed boost, it should be added to give them a chance
If they don’t have such an option, they’ll either be left behind or have other opportunities later
Obviously the major nations should have similar capabilities to each other but i don’t think it really matters if they all have the same mechanics, rather just similar effectiveness
If the USSR could get a 40km SPAA that wasn’t Multi-vehicle, i’d be fine with that since they would still have the same overall capabilities as Germany that relies on multi-vehicle mechanics

I think we just differ on our philosophies about what should be added and when… I care about both capabilities and mechanics, while you seem to primarily care about capabilities.
So i already got smoked by an EFT in SLM, you will definitely need shorter range spaa as well.
And i think there’s some sort of logic errors, the SLM launches in DL without IR even if the target is very close, or the seeker has a min range, idk. But they should implement proper DL+IR
They should obviously receive them but for now you’ll have to wait because as i’ve mentioned before, Gaijin for some strange reasons doesn’t implement some stuff at the same time even if it makes perfect sense and nobody would complain about it
Even for stuff that’s pretty much copy paste, take a look at the F-18 Finland is getting this update, that could have been added alongside the previous one since they are the same plane but with ground ordinance but for some reason it took a separate major update
I care about mechanics but i don’t put them on the same importance as capabilities/effectiveness, they come after it
For example, I would rather have a 40km single vehicle SPAA over a 20km Multi-vehicle SPAA

Good question. When would be the earliest point after launch the nose cone can be jettisoned? Directly after leaving the tube? After the first course correction? After the motor is burned out? Would be nice to have an answer…

40km range is “meh”. I was testing it with a friend and the missile barely has energy to keep up with a jet past 12km. I could easily avoid it after the booster stage shuts off.
It’s too slow right now. Should be Mach 3 but tops out at Mach 2.5, that’s why.
