This is horrendous, it seems like they tried to make a wheeled assault gun of sorts, but had niether a custom hull nor turret available to integrate. North Korea managed something of this sort on their own, which probably doesn’t make Iran’s domestic industry look all too impressive in comparison.

Iranian one’s likely older and likely has some practical justification like reusing older components, easier produce/maintain etc.
We don’t know the extent of the practicality nor the innards of these North Korean Western platform knockoffs.
(The new NK MBT and the NLOS ATGM carrier likely works in that those are capable of lobbing its munition at targets … quite similar to their earlier, existing platforms. We just don’t know how if the advertised new features actually work as integrated practical platforms/systems.
And the new NK SPG is very much derived from Iran’s modern 155mm SPH, the Raad-2)

I would just expect better from a nation vying to build an arsenal worthy or challenging some of the large militaries of the world, even the continued usage of the BTR-60 and M47 seems a bit outdated all things considered.
And I would definitely agree that North Korea’s domestically produced alternatives to Western tech is nowhere near as technologically relevant as they have insisted; it is all just propaganda of course. But at the very least I believe there is an active attempt to provide the same capabilities.
To my knowledge, Iran has yet to bring out any armor that truly leaves defense analysts guessing as much as with the inherent secrecy of NK-made designs.
It also depends though, if it’s used by the IRGC solely, I can believe it being a simple modification since they’re a paramilitary force essentially. If it’s used by the IRIA too, then yeah it’s a bit more surprising.

most of iranian vehicles are almost copy paste, then it should not be a seperate nation. if current re gime was not here im sure we had iran as a seperate nation already, but believe me, most of them are copy paste

The Shafaq missile is an Iranian medium-range air-to-ground missile that has been optimized and produced by the Ministry of Defense of the Islamic Republic of Iran for use on helicopters of the army and IRGC, as well as for use on Karar drones. This missile with a weight of 50 kg is capable of destroying multiple targets up to a range of 20 km with an error rate of 20 cm. Shafaq missile warhead has the ability to penetrate rolled steel up to a depth of 1500 mm.
