Hello,
I’ve recently seen the ability to create your own skin for any vehicle by editing the tga file with kind of any photo-editor. Somehow, if I try to edit any tga file from the user skin file there only comes a grid as shown in the picture. It doesn’t matter if I use paint.net or gimp. Both softwares are up to date.
Does anybody know how to fix this?
Thanks in advance
Just checked a random few vehicles and haven’t had issue.
Is it all the files, or just the camos?
And what vehicle is it you are exporting so I can also try the same?
I tried the T-34-85, BMP-2, Leopard 2A5 and 2PSO.
Everything except the blk file is not showing what it is supposed to do.
Thanks for the reply
I just tried the T-34-85 and the 2A5 and both exported correctly.
No idea how to suggest a fix for you.
You’ve obviously verified the game files, and tried deleting the outputted files and re-exporting?
I’m kinda new. Therefore I don’t know exactly what you are talking about.
But I deleted the cameos and created new oness After that I just go to the game folder and open the tga files with gimp.

Verifying files is done through the launcher, top right spanner, in there ‘Check files’. If on steam it’s just usually in the steam library (Right click game, properties, ‘installed files’ section, ‘Verify integrity of game files’)
Someone may point to a folder to remove, then do these steps to redownload whatever they sent you to clear out.
I verified the game files twice through the game launcher. After that nothing popped up and I could start the game.
