Introducing WT Heatmaps

Hello War Thunder Community!

I’m happy to introduce a new website for all you tank commanders out there: WT Heatmaps! This website is designed to give players an in-depth look at player movements across all ground battle maps, helping you analyze tactics, strategies, and choke points.

What is WT Heatmaps?
It is a visualization tool that generates heatmaps based on player movements during ground battles. By utilizing these heatmaps, you can gain insights into commonly traversed areas and hotspots.

Key Features:

  • Dynamic Heatmaps: See where players are moving, fighting, and focusing their efforts.
  • Map Analysis: Get a deeper understanding of each map, with heatmaps that highlight popular routes, camping spots, and high-traffic areas.
  • Live statistics: Look at how many games the data is based upon and how many positions have been examined!
  • Community-Driven: All the data used for this project comes directly from players willing to share their matches data.

Get Involved:
Head over to WT Heatmaps and have a look around. I’m eager to hear what you think and how I can make this website even better. For any question or desire to contribute, leave a comment below or send me a message!

Notes:
The website is still new, bugs may occur and domain name is still temporary.

Good stuff! I wonder if this is how Gaijin decides to “balance” maps by looking for the odd spot that no one uses, to try and focus everyone into certain areas.

The heat map for Crossing over the Rhine, that is so true how that map plays. Everyone generally flows like lemmings, fighting over the square along the edge of the map in those narrow alleys.
