The Bundle

A concept we’ve been considering for a while now is the idea of collection packs — a premium bundle that contains multiple vehicles along with other goodies. The benefit of a pack like this is that it comes as a lineup, which is overall more useful than a single vehicle, giving those who pick it up more options in battle and the potential of earning more Research Points with multiple spawns. Plus, it’s a good pick if you haven’t played Germany yet!

The Beasts from the East and West

The two premium Tiger H1 models represent the battlefields of the Eastern and Western fronts, incorporating aesthetic elements inspired by each theater.

The Tiger from the east has clearly seen a lot of action and is much more rugged and rural, with some extra track armor on the frontal hull and bundles of sticks strapped to the sides.

These function more for improvised camouflage rather than protection however, and won’t offer much of any extra survivability from conventional rounds. The extra track armor can prove effective when angled however, and will make this eastern Tiger more effective for closer range engagements.

The western Tiger though is much more comfortable among the verdant fields and hedgerows of the Western Front. It features an extensive camo net which disguises its silhouette nicely at the longer ranges especially against aircraft! This Tiger (while versatile in its own right) is more suited for waiting in ambush and sniping from long distances, where its extra concealment really comes into play.

Importantly, as these two Tigers depict customized, battle-hardened vehicles, they have both received an additional modification — the anti-infantry mortars on the top of the hull which often got in the way of the cannon have been removed. This doesn’t give them any additional gun depression over the basic variant overall, but does mean that these two can achieve maximum gun depression over the corners of the hull!

Protecting the Skies

Accompanying these big cats is a premium Ostwind II, complete with special camo netting of its own along with wider Ostketten tracks (as a module) to improve its maneuverability!

We considered going for a more classic option such as the regular Ostwind or Wirblelwind, but wanted to stick with the Ostwind II despite it being a prototype, as it would better match the Battle Ratings of the Tigers and make the overall lineup more functional — plus this way it could be more effectively used in higher tier lineups as well.

We hope this new bundle will give a nice head start for budding tank commanders keen on progressing through the German tree, as well as offering a comfortable lineup for players looking to get more Silver Lions, or who just love driving Tigers!

That’s all for today, make sure to pick up the pack when it releases with the Storm Warning major update! Until then stay tuned as we have a lot more to show you yet!

Please note that this vehicle’s characteristics may be changed before it is added to the game.

Depending on the price, I think this could be the final solution to the lack of lineups when it comes to Premium players!

However, Premium packs, reaching the 80€ mark already, are really, really expensive already for what they are; so I think this is a great idea only if it doesn’t come with a further increase in prices.

Instead, the additional lineup vehicles should make the improved packs actually worth their current prices.

For example- for the current price tag, the M1A1 “Click-Bait” pack could also include an ADATS, and a re-skinned Abrams HC or even an HSTV-L.

This would be an enormous deal in two ways:

1- It would make packs actually worth their current price tags.

2- Lack of lineups for Premium players solved.

And I assure you, sales would skyrocket as well. Many of us don’t buy Top Tier Premium packs anymore because we consider 80 bucks for a single vehicle to be too expensive only to have lineup issues once backups run out. With the Lineup Pack concept, everything is solved.

Still a lovely pack, don’t do premium spaas tho, please

Avrei preferito un solo carro pesante non 2 comunque è bello almeno parti con tre veicoli e non con uno

I mean, the goal of these is precisely to grind the trees.

And I think it’s much better to have Premium players with a full lineup rather than with a single vehicle leaving after one death…

Thats satisfactory, but could you kindly reveal the prices? Additionally, I’m curious to know whether these gift packs can be bought individually or if they are only available as a bundled offer.

the goal of this is purely to harvest the german ww2 lovers. To make more profit without any additional work on the game.

It is nice to have more Tigers as event and premium vehicles than tech-tree Tigers

Wow they look really cool but I think the Price will be huge. Good Idea selling Packs with more than one Vehicle. What I dont like is the Flag which is not historical accurate right?

symbology on flag - yes, isnt accurate
but it still can be present on model

Do you think you could have the funny windmill with a War Thunder Live skin then?

Nah, can’t be posted, against the rules.
If you need it that badly then edit the skin yourself

It means we can see one vehicle multiple times, waiting for regular Zrinyi I, RN Giulio Cesare, RN Duca d’Aosta and NMS Regina Maria in the Italian tech tree then.
PS looks like money making line-up, this idea could be nice for top tier brs imo.

All right ok thanks, I don’t really need it but the historical inaccuracy is immediately apparent. Is it even allowed to edit the skins? I wouldn’t even know how with which program etc :D

Wow, pay good cash to get useless mine launchers removed. Love this business model. Oh and get additional armor. I would get it, if standard Tiger also could unequip mine launchers and get some track armor. In such case, the pack would add some.super cool aesthetics + camo net. Maybe a few track links more for a tiny advantage.
Instead it’s pay2win.

Edit: in reality pay2lose as these teams will be as bad as US 4.3 ARB teams.

When we want gaijin to add more WW2 vehicles
Gaijin: Copy premium。
I have guessed the copy premium of T34 and Sherman, and the disaster is about to spread to WW2 (
