What about firing the gun while using this new system? Will the gun track and aim for the target if it’s locked or will we still have to use the sight mode for it?

It was pretty decent before the tws+ update but it just doesnt keep a decent lock in tws anymore, it drifts everywhere but where the target is.

Only contingency is using it in its smallest scan zone but ofc thats going to work.

I just want a fix for the tws lock drifting around the target

Wow, now i´m missing the whole fight will watching some icons on a screen. Just what the heck, gaijin ? I want to see the action. my SPAA firing the missel, the missel flying through the air and hitting the target, exploding it into thousand pieces.

i don´t want to sit glued behind a minigame the whole match. Heck, might aswell play some actually free-to-play bowser game. Playing cooky clicker i see just as much action as with this screen.
Complet timewaste.

Like, seriously, what where you thinking. I´m here because the game gives me so much feedback. Allowing you to follow fired munitions throught the air, haveing slowmotion xray views of what happend in the corner of the screen and a full screen one showing how you got destroyed.

How people who implemented all of this into there game, could think this radar screen is a good idea, is beyond me.

To bring more people to play said specific gamemode, simulator battles been untouched for years except when comes to line-up changes.

While using modern SPAA that access to this feature, I believe you’ll not be forced to use it anyways, better off working with modular air defense systems that will be added into the game this update;

I liked that you can easily choose the target by the list of simply clicking on them while having a view of said target in a screen, it’s easier than the keybinding spaghetti thing.

All that AA systems gonna be obsolete when they added spice 250s

Locking interface upgrade, that will only get more neccesary in the future as more modern and/or complex AAs get added, behind said game mode is bad way to increase popularity of said game mode.

As much as i might agree sim is in rough shape taking away from other modes is just bad idea in general.

While its good to see gaijin attempt to resolve the current imbalance between cas and ground forces, we’re going to need larger maps. Most of the maps are too small for high tiers as it is already. Going to be a lot of fun trying to hide a vehicle as large as a bus on some of these maps. I’ll be spending some time on the test range attempting to learn how to properly use these new features before going into a battle where enemy air and ground units are trying to kill me. Also hoping the basement guy will do some kind of a tutorial video on how to use these features.

I doubt radar screens being limited to Sim would increase the player base there, as there are like dozen issues plaguing that game mode and those should be fixed first.

Seeing how GRB is like the most popular mode in the game, I don’t think any big Sim-only changes are coming any time soon. To be fair, that mode is EOL and should be just let to die in peace,

I’m afraid cas won’t be flying when I can just fire off ARH missile in any direction and it will get radio-corrected into the target. And all that just for 70 spawn points! Splendid.

from what ive gathered about new SAMs in their dedicated threads, currently only SLM can threaten Kh-38MTs carrier and even then it can just go cold and missile wont catch it.

other SAMs can only intercept the missiles themselves, not the carrier.

for any other CAS, situation remains largerly unchanged, they will just have to continue flying like they did up until now against Pantsir.

Oh great, a new interface I won’t be able to use because a tank will kill me after I moved out of spawn.

I really hope so. Cause i can see it practicly necessary. Like sniper mode in naval. There you have to stick to the aiming mode, if you want to hit anything. Really boring.
