The T53E1 was an attempt to apply the 90mm Anti Air Gun on a Sherman Hull which was oddly riveted since Chrysler already had the facilities for it. It could be put in the AA line or SPG line for all I care since it was meant to hunt both aircraft and armored vehicles.
