"interesting" Heavy Cavalry bug

So just about 8h ago I saw somebody already posting about the loadout issue (And yes I already made a bug report), but there is a little more to it even.

When you load into a match you can encounter the issue of not being able to zoom in during Free cam, well an easy fix is to go into Controls during a testflight or custom mission and load a previous locally saved control setting.

Interestingly enough however, once you do that your loadout for that specific aircraft just deletes most of the available ARH missiles not just from your loadout, but in general you cannot even create a new loadout as a temporary fix, no they are simply gone. The only way to bring them back is to leave the game and load back in…but then you have the Freecam issue again.

I seen many peculiar bugs over the years, but this one is quite something ngl.

This is due to the new settings having C + (button) keybinds. You can remove them or rebind them and it’ll work.

I believe C + (left click) is “Delete Aiming” point, hence why it looks like its doing nothing.

Loading a previously saved key bind save might not fix it due to the issue most likely being cause by new key binds that weren’t an option before. Look for new “aim point” key binds bound to “C+[something]” and delete them.

the Arrow down key to the left side of the numpad is completely unusable now, and I used it for so many important things that now have overlaid controls. This update is hogahh.

You issue sounds like something different. I recommend bug reporting it. You can bug report it here: Gaijin.net // Issues (just search a bit first so that you don’t report something that is already reported and known about)

A guide on how to report bugs can be found here: ([Navigation] Technical Knowledge Base | War Thunder Wiki)

yes i saw a bug report and commented. I’m not the only one.
