I do wish to believe what you wrote when it comes to players motivations, but this topic has one too many examples of the opposite.

Focus include VT-4, as the current issue that plague this game is not 1, but 3.
1.) Sabotage of the Thai tech tree by one community’s voice being taken in favor over the other, and extremely bad faith communication from the dev. No statement, no nothing, so we dont even know how to move on from this point w/o continuing the flame war.
2.) Extremely ridolous suggestion of adding a sub-tech tree to Chinese tech tree, which seems to be against the wishes of not only the other community, but the Chinese community as well.
3.) Sabotage by Gaijin to the Chinese tech tree due to ignoring bug report

Of course, as I explained there are people who are just in over their head with this, but it all started with the autoloader position.
There will always be mindless trolls in every community, the Chinese one is no different, it is truly regrettable that they are getting mis represented on such a scale

I honestly dont blame the Chinese community for it outrage for the Thai VT-4 issue, its understandable, but in my perspective extremely selfish. What I am upset is the lack of professionalism by Gaijin to make any statement, either we bury this hatchet, and they set a new precedent on how to deal it, and maybe how they would compensate (as in what they will add instead) to the Thai sub tech tree. But noo ofcourse no statement, just corporate goalposting to another goalposting.

Exactly, all the double standard has been just piling too high, luckily the snail’s attempt to start infighting with singapore leopard in the Chinese TT didnt work and got everyone to team up against it, more or less

if Gaijin just says hey Thai sub tech tree player, so sorry, we want to make our game more marketable and dont want to risk losing a big customer base, please take (nothing) (or something) instead!.
This would have been perfectly fine but they left us in the dark, and did a lot of action that can be interpretation by stupid gamers like me as malice towards the other community.
maybe the special discount for Chinese region was a long project they were working on before that just so happen to be in a bad time, maybe its just an attempt to appease the Chinese community, idk, you dont know, we dont know, terrible communication from the company, leaving us in the dark without a solution.
yes its incredibly stupid and I am happy that the Chinese community did not see that bs through, as much as their action is causing sabotage to the Thai-tree, their wishes for a bug fix doesnt automatically become null, that would be petty, and uncivilized, I am happy they didnt buy into such bait.
the point i was making was simple
if china doesnt want anything of their creation to go to another nation
then all the vehicles of foreign nations should be taken out of the chinese tree

The lack of professionalism is one thing, the lateness was another, the original announcement said a reply would be given on the latter half of september, not at the end of september.
Everyone thought they were gonna get us an answer after a week, instead we waited 18 days for an empty reply that tried to get every other community to point their spears at us

I like the part where the chinese can just force gaijin to bend over on every topic to the dismay of everyone else.

The existence of chinese vehicles in another TT is not exactly what everything started as, the initial issue was the inconsistency between the same vehicle in different TTs.
Most top tier Chinese MBTs have their autoloader position wrongly modeled closer downwards, this caused more frequent ammoracking and has been a major issue. However, in the leaked modelfiles for the Thai VT4, this issue was not present, yet no fixes to the Chinese MBTs were made.
this double standard from the devs and many more is the core of this chaos, not the simple “no vt4 in japan” many claim to it to be.

Dont get me wrong, I 100% can see the chinese perspective on this. Im czech, I dont want to see czech vehicles in soviet TT, period.
BUT
the tank in question is indeed thai VT-4, not chinese. In same sense I wouldnt really care to see soviet operated and owned L-39 in the soviet TT, but I do get angry that it is czech operated and owned L-39 in soviet TT.
But, that is entirely separate issue to incorrect modeling of vehicles.

Yeah, the autoloader position directly affects how often it gets ammo racked, that is no small issue for any vehicle

Agreed.
The issues with the Thai VT-4 and Singapore will be much easier to resolve when the main problems with Chinese vehicles are solved. So this should be our main focus.
