After dropping Singapore as a Chinese sub-tree in this circumstance, it genuinely feels like a threat. I’m not surprised they shut down a counter-post.

I think there still is a difference here
T-84 for Russia is problematic not because it’s made by Ukraine, but because it’s operated by them. If there was an operator nation with better relations to Russia that was in the Russian tree this also wouldn’t be seen as an issue.
The problem isn’t T-84 going to Russia, but Ukraine as a nation going to Russia.
In the VT-4s case this can also be exactly replicated. A Chinese VT-4 shouldn’t go to Japan because of the hostilities between the nations, but this is because of the nationality, not the vehicle itself.
Agreed, that’s like saying the German tree should be split in four because the German Empire, Nazi Germany, West Germany and East Germany are different nations. They are still all Germany.
To be fair the M1A2T is a domestic addition through ROC, and it’s even a unique variant of the tank. I think it’d be nice to see at some point.

If you have questions about moderation on the forum please send a private message to one of the Forum Moderators, there is no need to post about it in public. You can find all the teams and the areas they handle listed here: (Who is who and Reporting Procedure). If you don’t get an answer within a few days you can add more moderators from the list to the original message instead of sending a new message (that way you preserve the date of the message and it doesn’t look like a new request), adding one of the moderators to the message every 2-3 days or so until you get an answer.
Please do not to add the seniors until you have tried all other regular moderators, the Seniors likely won’t answer unless they are added and pinged by the regular moderators but if you’ve added all the regular moderators with no answer then you can add the seniors.
As if that clears up the justification.

The only logical conclusion Gaijin should get from the sheer opposition and ratio’d post is that we do not like Singapore being in China.

It calls the results “unilateral”, which is not the case as the vote is internationally accessible and quite varied in their answers, so it’s unclear what they meant by that.
It’s also not a duplicate topic, as the only way to discuss the possible addition of Singapore to China currently is in a general topic that also includes other issues and topics that distract from this point.
So would it be possible to get more of an elaboration on why exactly it was closed so the specific problems can be avoided when making such a topic?

I have a bad take but I believe it’s the least worst way to add North Korea and South Korea to the game.( at least that Gaijin will allow)
North Korea as a subtree of China.
South Korea as a subtree of USA
I say this as Israeli main so I have no real skin in that game.
As far as the VT4, it should be added to Thailand. Saying Thailand should not have it is the same as taking Leopard 2s away from every nation other than Germany.
If Singapore does get added to China. Which I am personally against. It should then get all of Singapore’s tech. Withholding vehicles at that point wouldn’t make any sense.

I don’t mind them doing all of the things stated here in the next patch. A Singaporean squadron vehicle for China, more Indonesian vehicles for Japan, VT-4 to Thai ground blah blah, some Chinese MBT fixes and so.
Based on how well people are taking this, id say this is one of gaijins most successful posts
Absolutely, we don’t have to be Chinese, China main players or even if you don’t play China at all, to desire to see fixes and correction of inaccuracies in the game, China wasn’t always a nation I played and at some point I even hesitated to commit and grind it, now behold it’s 1 of my main trees, I also successfully pulled in friends to grind the tree and viewed it with skeptical eyes as a USSR copy, now they enjoy it too, my ideal vision of the tree is vehicles properly implemented, fixed and more domestic design to flesh out the tree as it should be
