Just because you can make up an issue doesn’t mean it exists. Its a game, there are no politics in a game, and the only people who bring politics into the game are those that want to make an issue out of something that while an issue IRL, does not, and I repeat, DOES NOT belong in the game.
I don’t envy Chinese players, I am tired of hearing them trying to veto vehicles from being added to the game because they believe they can bring their political issues into a video game where their issues should not be brought up. There’s real life places and forums where geopolitics can be discussed and voices of disdain can be made.
And while I acknowledge that the Singaporean players have issues with their nation being put in as a sub-tree to China which honestly doesn’t need one as they have enough domestic vehicles and domestic modifications of foreign vehicles to be added to the game that it’s unnecessary but at the same time Singapore can’t be added as a sub-tree to the UK tree because we’ve already got South Africa in it and India is slated to be added to the tree, sometime in the far future when the game is probably close to EoS and needs to breathe some new life into it.
So the only other option that can happen for Singapore is if there comes a Pan-Asian tech tree which combines all the nations that don’t have enough vehicles on their own into one large tree that covers all the necessary bases. But Gaijin won’t add one. So the only other option is for Singapore to not be added to the game then and their own domestic modified vehicles be split among the different national trees as premiums or event vehicles.
Honestly I agree, Singapore has little to no relation to Japan, and with Thailand and Indonesia already isn’t needed. Instead I think Singapore fits best with Israel due to extensive military relations.
But as far as other subtrees go I’m all for some for China like Pakistan, Bangladesh and possibly North Korea. I just hope these aren’t an excuse not to fix and add domestic vehicles, sincethat is really needed and was entirely ignored in the Gaijin post.
Releasing Thai VT-4 on V-J day would’ve been a big issue I agree. I’d also say it’s fair to want to wait until the situation of the Chinese tree is improved. But I still do want to see Thailand get their tank eventually.
This is something all players can agree on. This should be our main priority now.
You’re right. But as things stand, it seems very difficult to practically implement Thai Chinese-made equipment in the game. Unless Gaijin comes up with a solution that satisfies both sides in the future, this issue will remain unresolved
see, when chinese players crying domestic tanks being added to japan TT’s thai sub TT: you nationalists are sooo annoying and get back your own server!
when gaijin claimed they have plan to add sinapore to china TT: no you cant do that! *list numberous reasons trying to pretend you are not invoving any national concerns*
but wait, dont you guys are just doing the same thing like we did? you can involve more reasons to pretend you dont care politics, but it is just here. pretending to be blind never works. the reason why most people refuse to add sinapore TT to china is politics. any other reasons just comes next.
The first step would be to actually listen to Chinese feedback instead of releasing an empty statement explaining why they justify how it’s always been.
I don’t think this is an issue between Thai and Chinese players, it’s an issue between Gaijin and Chinese players that Gaijin just drags others into now. This can only be resolved by fixing the initial problems.
Don’t take yourself too seriously, I don’t even got the time to read you comment before it was taken down. Maybe find the reason from yourself before blaming others.
Bro, they can’t dodge this issue now. Seriously, if they don’t handle this problem properly, it’s basically a death sentence for Gaijin as a company. Right now, they rely entirely on this game to generate revenue for funding their new FPS project.
As long as they have the sincerity, the time it takes to fix these issues isn’t a problem. However, Gaijin must first demonstrate this sincerity and a genuine attitude towards doing the work; otherwise, it’s all just empty talk.
