Information Regarding the Thai Subtree and Chinese Vehicles

Should’ve rephrased, they’ve exported basically close to none. I mean, even I gave a couple examples in my original reply. Thats just me being unclear.

I guess its also because Japan doesn’t try to sell their MBTs, while China does.

im more interested in hyperborean lore behind chinese Gripen lol.

  1. I have already explained that your “shifting of concepts” refers precisely to equating the issue of Ukraine’s Oplot-T being assigned to the USSR with the potential political implications of China’s VT-4 being assigned to Thailand.

  2. Deploying Chinese-made vehicles purchased by Thailand under Japan’s tech tree will only fuel greater dissatisfaction among Chinese players. This could lead to organized boycotts and deter new Chinese players from joining the game. If Gaijin alienates the Chinese market—a major revenue source—it would be a severe strategic misstep.

As a side note, industry rumors suggest Gaijin’s revenue this year is only half of last year’s. The game’s planners are reportedly facing internal scrutiny over insufficient profits for new game development. I doubt they would risk losing the “gold mine” of the Chinese market—but if they insist on this course, we’ll see how it plays out.

I mean the whole action of adding sub tree with VT4 and the following is a disaster already due to the reasons I said previously and I dont wish to critique an entire group because of a small number of radical individuals

I can understand your anticipation, but why isn’t Gaijin adding the Oplot-M to the USSR tech tree right now?

because USSR doesn’t need Oplot-M and Russia + Ukraine are at War. Thailand and Japan are not. Its a bad comparision.

As i dont want to either, thats why i poimt out that its a problem sole for a small group of politically active players

You didnt explain anything. You just keep repeating that “shifting of concepts” refers to equalising of ukrainian Oplot and thai VT-4, but theres no such thing as shifting the concept. Unless of course you want to say “moving the goalpost” which isnt even remotely true, because people keep repeating to you that you are indeed putting false equivalency between these two issues - for your comparison of ukrainian oplot going to russian TT to work, you would need to compare chinese VT-4 going to japanese subtree WHICH ISNT THE CASE HERE - its THAI TANK GOING TO THAI SUBTREE

not deploying THAI TANK IN THAI SUBTREE will allienate rest of the playerbase ;)

I can only see the political issues here. They had a great chance to add it rn as they made a base model of the Oplot. But they didnt. And then they say they’re apolitical.

I believe this analogy is entirely appropriate. It’s crucial to remember that Japan has never fully acknowledged the crimes it committed during its wars against China and other Asian nations. To this day, relations between China and Japan remain notably tense.

That’s weird, is that exactly what it’s about?
I read the topic and didn’t understand anything. Can you help? Thai subtree will get chinese vehicles and why?

Now you’re not saying this is just a game and has nothing to do with politics?

Now this, ladies and gentlemen, is how you really show how out of touch you are with your community

There is no need for a subtree for china, any gap that there may be im very sure china has something that can be added.

China has enough domestic vehicles to be added and many that should be already added yet are not such as ZBD05, ZBD03 or ZBL08. We know that export vehicles are also not off the table when the CS/SA5, VT4 and MBT2000 are in the base tech tree.

Of course this reply is mainly regarding ground vehicles, but I don’t think china is hurting for any air vehicles either.

Japan invaded Thailand, but that was extremely short lived.

As for the Thai I’ve spoken to, they hold positive relations with Japan. I’ve met a Thai person who said “If I was not Thai, I’d be Japanese.”

You can ask Thai players yourself, they hold nothing but positivity for Japan.

Oh? How exactly did I make a false analogy? From your perspective, why is comparing the placement of the VT-4 under Japan with the Oplot-T being assigned to the USSR considered an invalid comparison?
