Information Regarding the Thai Subtree and Chinese Vehicles

In the game, the AIM-120A is better in 95% of situations. Do you want a nerf?

oh that gonna make the aircraft better.

It’s genuinely ironic. Just a few days ago, those Westerners who were accusing and mocking the Chinese for being “oversensitive” are now the same ones who—upon discovering Gaijin’s plan to add Singapore to the Chinese tech tree —angrily flooded the forum with over 800+ (surpassing the number of replies in the Chinese community thread), expressing their outrage and concerns about Singapore being placed under China. Is there really any fundamental difference between the two situations?

Doesn’t this reveal that the real issue lies with Gaijin? We’ve identified the problem, yet instead of questioning Gaijin’s decision-making, we turn our frustration toward each other—fueling hostility and blame between player communities.

Suppose Gaijin hadn’t given any prior notice and simply went ahead with adding Singapore to the Chinese TT (after all, Sino-Singapore relations are quite strong—the partnership has been elevated to an “All-Round High-Quality Future-Oriented Partnership,” and China has been Singapore’s largest trading partner for 12 consecutive years since 2013. Not to mention, ethnic Chinese make up about 75% of Singapore’s population). By that logic, wouldn’t Singapore deserve a place in the Chinese tech tree?

Yet the answer is clearly: no, it doesn’t belong there—because there are still too many complicating factors that can’t be ignored.

The same reasoning applies to Thailand’s placement under Japan and the VT-4’s inclusion via the Thai subtree. There may be superficial justifications, but that doesn’t mean it’s the right decision when broader contexts and sentiments are considered.

So let me ask: if one day Gaijin actually went through with adding Singapore to the Chinese TT, would you simply sit back and accept it?

…what? is this some kind of gotcha? most believe that there is no reason to add a subtree since there is a LOT of actually chinese stuff left to add to the tree

I want historical, I want aim9p4 not the aim9l which never used, I want the FULL AirToGround payload for her, I want gaijin stop putting any armament which never used on any vehical

In fact, I have no objection to the VT4 being added to Thailand’s tech tree, but due to historical reasons, many Chinese players are dissatisfied with this. This is a political issue related to national sentiments, which is something Gaijin needs to consider. However, this is actually just a trigger; Chinese players have long harbored resentment towards Gaijin.

Yeah, massive one?

Doesn’t the problem come from yourself? If you are angry because of others, should you also be angry?

So they can’t talk about my Eurocentric view, right?

IF gaijin can put any armament on the vehicle which is fit, then we should see taiwan’s mirage 2000 having bombs, and they don’t

How about North Korea for China and South Korea for Japan seems like 2 nations that go hand in hand with each other and vehicles that serve a similar purpose and would be nice to see together, makes more sense than seeing “Russian like” Vehicles on a nation that has never touched them.

i disagree, SK should not be placed anywhere near JP

personally im pro United Korea tree, or SK as a subtree for US for instance
