This is how Gaijin treat their players…
There’s a few, we actually have one of them in game already! (The Falrick 105 ATGM on the CV90105 XC-8, & CT-CV 105HP)
And if I recall, The T 80U was not trialed by Finland, but by Sweden, therefore irrelevant to the Sub Tree question. I still think it is a ridiculous that Sweden has it though, and I will agree on that. But this is aside the point.
While yes, it certainly was added after the idea of subtrees, as you described it.
ZTZ-96B ~ already suggested
ZBD-03 airborne ifv and it has variable suspension and can equip HJ atgms
ZBD86A
ZBL-08 ifv
Soviet weaponry doesn’t over-perform over other tech trees.
To be fair none of the swedish players wanted it when gaijin could’ve added a unique Finnish Patria in its place
my honest opinion singapore should go to israel both countries have really good relations the armed forces of singapore were trained by the FDIs singapore armed forces have literally a similar if not the same doctrine as the FDI, singapore even produce under license and use the SAR-21 which is literally the cousin of the TAR-21 rifle which is produced in israel (both are bullpup rifles), israel sent a lot of help to singapore, vehicles, armament, technology, components, training, air defences and we cant leave out the fact that the independence of singapore was declared with the help of israel both countries are really close, japan already got a subtree and it would even get indonesia as stated, soo… singapore should go to israel or UK but UK got india and there is a lot of commonwealth vehicles missing too and now it got australian and canadian vehicles soo… i dont see how singapore could go to britain since it have a lot of vehicles, singapore its a perfect subtree for israel because there is a lot of space in the israeli tree to not leave a single singaporean vehicle out of the game also all the singaporean comrades would be very well welcome in our tree.
Would like to second the notion of Singapore going to Israel. Sort of a win win there.
Then send a Leopard 2 to Israel too? Sounds weird.
whats the problem? we have the hungarian 2A7 in italy which is also one of the best 2A7 out there honestly, we also have the finish leopards in sweden, soo… i dont see any problem, or you would like more to see leopards in china? which it doesnt efing make sense lmao that would be more weird and totally dissociated from reality.
There are no shortage of vehicles that can be added to the Chinese technology tree. The reason for Gaijin’s attempt to add sub-technology trees is simply that the gaijin want to copy-paste and be lazy. I equally oppose all behaviors of copying and pasting, which reduces the differences between the technology trees.
In comparison, I am more in favor of making ASEAN an independent TT.
How so? I mean, hasn’t Israel and Singapore had a strong military partnership or relationship since the 60s? I would imagine such is stronger than its relationship with China. Plus Israel could usena sub-tree more than China could (at the moment, not to imply China shouldn’t get one but just that there are probably better options).
stop right there, just to be clear if hipotetically speaking singapore is added to china what you would do? you will be fine with that or no?
copying and pasting sometimes is necessary to fill gaps in certain nations, its not always as bad as described by some characters. (china does not need to fill any gaps with foreign vehicles of nations that are not directly and indirectly related to them) china have a lot of remaining vehicles produced by them to be added to fill some gaps which arent a lot.
what you are proposing here its practically an utopia, not all the ASEAN nations have great relations between each other mate this would cause a lot of troubles in the future you should know this. be carefull with what you wish for.
this wouldn´t be happening with a lot of vehicles if gaijin were not refused to add locally produced weapons to some nations making certain vehicles a sidegrade of others nations vehicles with their own touch and uniqueness. (this is the case of israel with their planes) thats why a lot of people consider the israeli jets a copy paste of american ones and not actually a true sidegrade like they are supposed to be thats the reason of why certain nations are way less popular in comparison to others, some nations dont offer anything different or significantly unique to be worthwhile of grinding them (case of israel) and this is because gaijin want it to be like that and dont because there is no options remaining to fix this.
and finally a lot of singaporean users that commented in this topic are not against of singapore being added to israel, also they are not even interested in joining the game in an independent tree with other nations that are not related to them, soo… what you are proposing is a little bit selfish dont you think?
It will be weird for me to see China having a sub techtree basically, just like i said its wired to see an Israeli Leopard 2.
Considering that Israel is currently at war with Palestine, they should have more potential battlefield-modified Merkava tanks that could be added to the game. Adding a vehicle from a country 7,935 kilometers away seems quite out of place.
you say this but it wouldn´t be more weird, totally out of context, totally dissociated from reality to see leopard 2s in china, F-15s, more F-16s, western tanks, western air defences, western high end technology in china? oh boyyy trust this would not be great this would make a lot of people angry budd, atleast israel is more aligned with the west it makes more sense for those western vehicles to be added to israel than china honestly.
lets not bring political matters to the discussion you should know that this isnt allowed here, leaving this aside 7,935 kilometers is not a valid reason to be against of this honestly. From Japan to the west coast of the united states, Los Angeles is approximately 8,900 km. soo… yea here we are mate.
I mostly agree with this point. I’ve also noticed that Gaijin is attempting to add some unique ammunition to Israeli aircraft (though always lagging behind, as is their usual practice).
What I’m trying to express is that the Israeli military is engaged in combat operations (this is merely a factual statement, unrelated to politics). The demands of warfare often drive the development of more effective battlefield modifications.
- the israeli military being engaged in combat operations have no relation with israel reciving a nation like singapore as a subtree, its allies would remain the same.
- Israel have only one Merkava variant remaining to be added at the maximum BR right now. “the demands of warfare sometimes drives the development of more effective battlefield modifications” yes of course but yet again this is not a valid reason to be against the addition of singapore to israel, finland was added and their leopards didnt bring anything new to sweden but they were added anyways in this case israel would be really benefited of having those leopards in the tree for 2 reasons *1 the leopards offers a strong armor which merkavas lacks, *2 leopards would complement well with merkavas and you know why?, its because the merkavas have the mobility that the leopards dont, having such lineup with good mobility + good round + faster reload but less armor paired with strong armor, amazing round, decent reload but less mobility is a good combination leopards would make up for the shortcomings of merkavas and vice versa. now you understand why singapore doesnt make sense to be added to other nation besides israel?
Military cooperation alone does not substantiate any argument. China has engaged in military collaborations with the United States, France, the United Kingdom, Israel, and others. Such cooperation cannot justify integrating one nation’s TT as a sub-TT of another’s. Moreover, the military cooperation you mentioned is unrelated to ANY vehicle.
