Information Regarding the Thai Subtree and Chinese Vehicles

That’s the political side of the argument, I totally agree, but it doesn’t seem to be valid since “war thunder is a game”

And that wasn’t initially the focus of the issue either, people didn’t even think much until the model of the VT4 was leaked.

you should know that gaijin is attempting to divide players,so veryone will overlook his mistakes

Mao Zedong thanking Japan controversy - Wikipedia Well, this is an interesting point. Let me be clear: I’m not asking anyone to ignore their grievances. But we should remember that every coin has two sides. The fact that the VT-4 is being exported is something Chinese people can and should feel proud of—it’s a testament to your advancing military hardware.

Chinese players do not pursue the integration of Thai or Singaporean technology trees into the Chinese technology tree. Our actions are not aimed at seeing F15 or Leopard 2 on the Chinese technology tree;
For some vehicles that should belong to China, such as some improved models of M1A2T or F16 (belonging to Taiwan, China Province of China), we hope that Gaijin can join them;
At the same time, we require Gaijin to face the facts squarely. When we ask Gaijin to restore reality, he will say that it affects the balance too much. However, in the game, almost all top vehicles of the Chinese technology tree are in a debuff state, almost always at a disadvantage. Even if the evidence submitted by players spontaneously meets the requirements, it will be quickly not a bug. Gaijin even uses fabricated data to weaken the vehicles, such as Gaijin self-directed and self performed a table to show the penetration of JM33 on the front armor of ZTZ99A (I don’t understand which country in the world can obtain JM33 and ZTZ99A at the same time, even if it does exist, it should be…) Top secret document
We hope to replace the CBR administrator and improve the CBR system. For the suggestions accepted in CBR, evidence should be presented instead of saying ‘the weapon manufacturer is unprofessional’ and then choosing how to debuff themselves
Please note that the purpose of gaijin’s announcement is not to explain or issue response measures, but to shift the conflict among players and cause internal strife, so that gaijin can make their mistakes invisible

Phew, my attitude has been made clear. This is not the main community for Chinese players. Also, English is not the language of Chinese players. I will not join the debate here.
NOT A BUG!

It’s funny to me that after reading through the replies basically none of the Chinese players realize that this problem with bug reporting stretches far beyond the Chinese tec tree.

Your efforts would be much more accepted and supported if you would go hand in hand with other communities, instead of singling yourself out.

I have said this in the Chinese thread before: with your antics you are not only making Gaijin your enemy but also a large part of the international community, making it easy for Gaijin to do the bare minimum.

(P.S.: and don’t come at me with “then do it for yourself lol”, the last boycott succeeded because nobody said that these problems like research existed only for one nation but is a universal issue. You always say that you are a unified people, start acting like one)

Well yes, you are indeed using a round with 577mm of penetration.

I don’t think any can. This is just Gaijins way of weakening armor, by using estimate protection only against the lowest penetrating round at top tier (which was JM33 at the time). It’s not realistic or logical, but they won’t change it unless they get more accurate information that is literally impossible to provide.

This really needs to change.

A link to this document could help

There is no link to a document, I’m trying to make sense of Gaijins reasoning here. This is the only reason I can think of for choosing JM33, a round that the Chinese most definitely wouldn’t have used for armor testing.

I believe they are referring to planes still in development. There’s been some sightings but not much is known. J-36 is a speculative name for one such design.

In a report made by Major Lin Zhenglian of the ROCA, the APFSDS shot of the ZTZ99a was “able to vertically penetrate 850mm of homologous armor at 2000 meters”

To add to that credibility, the PLA was referred to as the “Opposition” or “enemy” in this report, there is no reason for the author to exaggerate this number.

I am currently working on translating the whole text, but since it is 22 pages long and filled with confusing traditional chinese, it’s gonna be a while before I finish. Although you all are very welcome to use gpt or google to see what’s what.

Yea no I don’t think that ones very accurate

Hmm, I got my bit of info, where’s yours?

Because those 0° numbers are derived from LOS penetration afaik.
You’d get absurd flat pen for any modern APFSDS using that method

that doesn’t answer the question bud, where did you pull that 577mm out of?

Btw, here’s another piece of inaccurate info, “using slanted armor designs, paired with add on ERA, the frontal protection can reach up to 1000mm”

granted it might be underperforming by some 20-30mm because we don’t have the exact dimensions. But since the size of that shell is limited by the autoloader anyways, you are not getting anywhere close to 850mm.

what?

so while we’re at it, why dont we put the finnish sub into the soviet tree
