at its very core, yes. However, as time goes on and games evovle they change from their core, at a certain point staying WW2 and early cold war would’ve killed if the game if it didnt switch to a full WW2 and early cold war sim somewhat like hell let loose crossed with DCS, it adding modern vehicles is for the better.

if you got accepted once you’re accepted for all the next CBTs, since i was in the first one i got to play the last 2 without needing to apply and ill be able to play this one and future ones

And that’s fine, people run in different circles. Though I still believe Gaijin should have put infantry to a player vote. As I said, all this time/effort/money could have been better spent (in my opinion) on improving the game. Not making it bigger.
The game is as wide as an ocean but as shallow as a puddle.

I Want same or even more than the people at Gaijin for Infantry to succeed, is one of these small dreams you have for War Thunder, like Space Ships Battle in (Space), Submarines,Large Scale combat like Planetside 2 and the list goes…

Imho, wrong way to think about it. This is more about attracting newer players. “You can play something like Battlefield but it’s free” is actually a pretty compelling hook. And once you’re in, if you want to use those helis and MBTs that other players are bonking you with, guess what you need to do? Just like ground mains grinding air trees to have more options in GRB.
On that premise it is extremely likely to work imho.
This should be a new game, completely separate from War Thunder, with its own team and funding; it’s just going to consume resources and manpower, just like the naval mode. Shame on you.

Where is my invite gaijin?
The selection is random, last i checked there were approximately 13900 players in the infantry forum section and if i remember correctly that’s the same amount as the previous test so they might not have sent out the acceptances for this round yet. The third round of tests also has not started yet either.
