Those FPS game dosen’t always has Tanks, Ships and aircraft dude. They are mostly only soldier vs soldier.
I meant those realistic milsim games like squad. I would just play those if I wanted to have combined arms combat. And I would play war thunder for vehicle combat

And with “many people liked it” you mean how many to be precise? The few posted in the forum? The game got 17.000.000 players 2024, how many of those told you that they want infantry added to the game?
AND one MAYOR issue with infantry is: Maps need to work with them, u cant just leave them as they are AND you can not have third person view on vehicles AND you cant have one player per Vehicle for such a mode to work properly.
Just imagine… u play fulda and someone spawns in a soldier with an kar98 and an anti tank grenate… and then he starts marching up the mountain xD
Even if he would jump on a friendly tank “catch a ride” to the casle… what then? xD
imagine ure in your infantry and getting killed by scout drones crashing into you xD
or by an 12.7mm cannon from a tank that dosnt even have a physical model that looks out of the hatch. Thats just hilarious.
Even if the infantry would be AI and you would drop it off… same story… WT is just not made for smt like that and it would take a completely new game to do that, which already excist and is called enlisted.

even if they didn’t add infatry they still have to reword the godamn map.
His leg got some explosive power ye? They have to add stamina… and age of the infantry will start from 9.
Everything you mention over here has been tried and happened already. There even a dude got shotted by artilitery right through his body.
That’s a stupid argument. I can easily flip it and ask you how many people said they don’t want infantry and it wouldn’t even come closer to that magic number you took from God know where. Does that automatically mean that most people want it?
If it’s not your thing, sure, no one is going to force you to play it. No need to be so defensive about the thought of infantry being added.

Maybe not a new game, but it would definitely have to be its own mode. Soldiers wouldn’t fit into the existing gameplay loop, I agree with you on that. Also, Olivia mentioned that they are pulling weapons from their other games so there is also an option of a merge. That would eliminate the issue of “a game like that already exists”.
Why donyou think they made enlisted a separate game in the first place and why do you think they would spend ALOT of money to merge? Its makes just no sense.

Btw enlisted has like 4000 players peak, wt around 200-250k

Elisted is a lot like what it would be if they rework wt to make infantry work. So why spending money on that dead horse?

Theres is really no reason why should spend money on implementing infantry that can do more then the one in the event.
Would cost way to much for a few players interested in and anfew player quitting because of it.
And a separate game mode… we ask for a tank only mode since the beginning… we didnt got one. Cause then no one would want to fight cas anymore and no one would buy cas anymore. It would basically mean that the CAS would lose its value in an instant.

Nah, just curious if you’ve actually played enlisted.
Like its alright gameplay wise, but the battlepass type of progression they got is whats killed their game i think. (Been a hot minute sense played though.)
Because Enlisted went downhill pretty fast. It’s not the concept that was bad, it was the execution. Plenty of people want infantry gameplay, just not Enlisted gameplay
Again, they didn’t make it, just publish it.
I don’t know what their rationale is. Personally I’m not particularly interested in infantry. But at this point it seems inarguable that it really is coming.
