Also i am pretty sure warthunder is pretty established now in particular now with its mobile game

Can only tell from my observation of friends and poeple i played back then left in that time.
And u can clearly see in the playercounts when gaijin started to do ads.
You can also see on the infografik of 2024 the average player played less then 10 battles. And with statshark you cpuld even check how little the amout of battles per account for each BR is.
What that means is, the playerbase is more a casual gamer then ever these days, not playing for PvP or Competition, just playing out of boredom, you can jump in and out of the game in 15min and many cust chill in good company.
Its also a fact that the averqge age of players is insanly high these days, which is just normal as the older you get the more chill games you wanma play.
Not saying here that necessarly a bad thing for making money, but have you seen many LOL players in the high ranks above 40 age? I didnt.
And i really dont like this ever growing shift from a competive game into a more casual one.
And about infantry… it has the potential to make the game extremly competitve again, but it will likely just be so poorly implemented that its at best just annoying. And i still dont belive that it would make the game better, no matter how you implement it.
Yea i feel that to i used to do squadron battles
And getting new Members was hard to impossible in the end
But i feel like this game litterly Poison if you try to do anything competitive over just having a good game and maybe grind a few Events
Given there are so many ways to just die without having any Control over it
So stuff like kd feels just like a Waste of time to try to keep up
Gaijin, the majority of players DO NOT want infantry. This is a game about planes, tanks and ships. Infantry does not belong here. War thunder should not become a modern Enlisted. Maybe if you want infantry in a modern setting, you can make another game. But don’t add this to war thunder

Maybe gaijin shall add another Crew Slot however you only can put troops in to it. And I wonder what if just Combine Enlisted and War Thunder Together.

Why not? Maybe something like the L5/21 and other vehicles armed with small caliber guns would be useful in that environment

As long as they intorduce it as a seperate gamemode and leave ground RB as it currently is.
If I wanted to play a game with infantry I would go play an actually good infantry game, because we all know Gaijin’s infantry will be a broken mess if/when they implement it.

If the Infantry will ever come, and they will be Ai units, I really hope that they would spawn in with the players first tank like this:
It could be even a vehhichle modification ingame.
