It’s a company, that does designing of fire arms. If you mean singular person, obviously John Moses Browning. Just watched the Garand Thumb video of the M1911 running after over a century. Pretty cool.
I don’t know, it seems like a really bad idea to announce such a huge thing the day before April Fools, in the middle of the update cycle.
I kinda doubt that such a huge change would be announced between updates with NO prior hints or confirmation or anything. Especially with the Covert Disclosures that usually hint at stuff. Like infantry literally changes the formula that’s been in place for over a decade. And not in a minor way like with drones or helis.
As far as I’m concerned, I play War Thunder as a vehicular combat game and don’t want to see infantry. It will be a bad addition to the game IF it’s real and not a poorly announced April Fools.
M1917 machine gun, M1911 pistol, M97 trench gun, M1918 BAR
insane loadout, and all John Moses Browning
If this is just a joke why open a new discussion about the Infantery and new techtrees did they do that with past Aprilfoole updates to?
I think they’ll likely have it as a seperate gamemode, kinda similar to how they have in Enlisted with “Squads” or “Lone Fighters” iirc. I honestly hope they do it like that because it’ll be really nice for those who don’t want to deal with little green army men and good for those of us who want to go bully tanks. It would also be very good for the game going forward to bring it into the more mainstream realistic games
Well, this was released on April 1st for me so I’m gonna take it with a grain of salt lol
man i wish we had a battlefield like game with realistic mechanics
its the april fool event. happens every year
mobile infantry even also worded it like it was a new permanent addition to the game(thank god it wasnt lol). its and even testing fps mechanics for active matter.
You don’t say, lmao
Most important thing. Attack the D point’s return?
Battlefield chaos with in-depth and realistic vehicle and plane mechanics is my dream, the armored part of Battlefield has always been same-y throughout its history, not even sim-lite or full on sim games like Arma have realistic modules or handling.
tanks always felt like they were in beta on the games and planes fly like a X wing from a star wars game for ps1. give me more realistic handling and my soul is the snails
Actually, the “original” D point was not an actual capture point. It was a pallet with supplies on it, much like we see in many places in ground battles now. And when you captured it it simply disappeared and you “owned” it. This would trigger a sudden ticket bleed for the other team and help your team move closer to winning.
The only place I can remember seeing it was on the Carpathians map . . .
and yes, I have captured the D point a few times . . . lol. It would just randomly pop up in different places, which was cool . . . no one could “camp” for it and that was a cool touch and made it very fun.
But they have had and still do have a D point in some maps and modes if I understand it. But again, none like the original . . . maybe someday.
(It was better than a nuke imho) . . . ☻
night mode for sim plssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss .
im going to assume that this trailer is a advertisement for the new gaijin extraction shooter “Active Matter” and the event will build up through eras from ww1 up to now, also as an advertisement for that game “Active Matter”
also the t-90 shot looks like it was taken from the game but made to look a bit like war thunder
erm isnt that enlisted
Enlisted uses equipment from Early/Interwar WWII to late WWII currently, neither Warthunder nor Enlisted features equipment seen in WWI
- Other than ships
yeah but i dont think trailer is ww1
