I pray we keep the WW1 vehicles. I want the planes so much. There’s so many choices too for many awesome planes, even if they will be slower than the PO-2.

Some new maps for WW1 would be great to see at some point too. Flers-Courcelette map during the Battle of the Somme would be peak. Rolling over the trenches in a Mark V would be an experience.
Or flying Albatros D.III’s over Arras during Bloody April would be fantastic.
Infact that should be an mode for testing air combat, Bloody April. Fitting for this month.

I think they may do another WW1 map but they may also use Flanders (I hope not).
But either way I’m hoping the expanded tech tree mean WW1 tech too and not just infantry.

I wouldn’t mind them using Flanders for the test. The big crashed airship in the middle would be interesting to fight around. Maybe make that an objective to take during the match, like Giants Shadow from Battlefield 1.
But there’s plenty of maps they could make for it. Passchendaele, Verdun, Flers-Courcelette, Cambrai, Amiens. Could even get some naval maps like Jutland

Not a bad take honesty. The game doesn’t feel like its in the best state. Like graphically yes, but there’s enough wrong at the core that this doesn’t seem unreasonable. Ground research progression is still bad, Sim Battles are getting treated about as well as Naval at this point, BR compression is still an issue for a lot of us, and certain balancing decisions remain unchecked or barely even acknowledged.

Seems sad that this is the most unique war thunder has gone just a shame it will end up being a test for a month, you guys don’t know how bad I want a WW1 tree for ground and air.

I am with you there on the WW1 content. And I don’t want to have to pay/download an entirely new game to get part of it (that being Aces of Thunder which just has a handful of WW1 planes).
