Most SACLOS systems cap out at what? 10-12km? Very few would actually have the necessary range to actually hit a MI28NM sat at 13-15km away. I know for example the ADATS would be completely screwed.

Then all the heli needs to do is duck behind a hill after firing off the LMURs and they are safe.

Its not an effective counter to helis. They can easily sit in MP and a heli is effectively in a perfect notch when hovering still, meaning it doesnt take much to actually defeat the missile once it goes active. Especially at the moment, where some SAMs like the Sky Sabre are bugged and dont have DL

Do people genuinely sit at 10-12km with the Mi-28? 99% of the one’s i’ve seen, don’t. Also the Sky-Sabres DL does work, just not consistently, you can clap Mi-28s sitting in MP.

i am too and they didn’t the new top tier its 12.7 and most of 11.7 of us got to 12.0 from 0.3 from top tier they got 0.7 away from top tier and the PL kept the distance of 0.3br of top tier

You can say the same for 11.3 US CAS as well, they just forgot about a lot of 11.3s.

But when you directly compare LMUR to say PARS or Spike, the ability to sit further away is pretty notable advantage

and when you did sit closer, the missile will be faster and have more energy to track moving targets
