HSTVL is superior to RDF/LT.
RDF/LT lacks mobility in comparison, and RDF/LT shouldn’t have thermals with the optic that’s modeled on it currently.
Leclerc is a 2A6 equivalent.
Ammo capacity
The chance of a 50 frag match in RDF/LT isn’t notable to HSTVL’s 20.
I aim not even for 2:1 KDR in these tanks as-is, which is like… 3 - 6 rounds.
I do expect the rare 10 frag match which 26 rounds is more than enough for.
More ammo is more forgiving

Continuing the discussion from Server Update 23.10.2025:
You can risk shooting off more rounds and possibly get some more kills than if you just conserve your ammo for another day. You can shoot breeches and tracks and engines more often without having to think about ammo conservation.
More ammo for the HSTV-L would be great.
The HSTV-L won’t get more ammo, that’s why I think it should stay 11.7 and the RDF-LT should be 12.0

Im saying thats what it should be considering the sep v2 atleast is the worst top tier mbt in game , sep isnt much better, if anything the sep v2 shiuld be lower than the sep

Certainly the worst abrams by far, the only thing thats maybe slightly worse is the ariete but that thing atleast has a better shell and spall liners

SEP V1 Abrams is arguably second or third best MBT at the moment, only behind Leopard 2A7Vs and Strv 122s.
Both the Ariete and the Abrams have similar penning rounds.
623mm for the Ariete, 629mm for the Abrams.

In general* theres literally nothing redeeming about the SEP V2 over the other abrams, its just less survivable, more visible, and slower
2A6/7/PL, all 122s, all t80s, arguably T72 and T90M honestly
Challenger 3TD at 12.0 isn’t too bad actually either.
My only issue with it is the mobility, but hopefully they go through with the 100HP buff.

Yes.
2A6 is iffy. In some cases I would rather have the better dart and turret armour, but in most cases the reload and slightly better mobility is much more worth it.
They are worse than the Abrams in most cases. The only benefit they have is their UFP armour (but it’s not nearly as good as the 2A7V’s or Strv 122’s). They blow up very easily too.
They’re both abysmal if the enemy knows how to aim. One wrong move and you can’t reverse out of the way, and you have a crappy 7.1s reload. Definitely taking the Abrams over those.

Why is the AGS at 12.0? I remember when I first got it and it was 9.3. Could you at least give it better thermals and M900?

SEP V2 is a top 5 MBT in the game.
It most certainly deserves 12.7.
