The historical accuracy in War Thunder as a simulator is merely a marketing strategy, War Thunder wouldn’t be the game big as it is today if it were realistic and more hard with a higher learning curve, the way the game lives between the Simcade-ism that is today is the, one of, main reasons why is so popular: Is realistic enough and simplistic enough to be accessible and accurate to real life. For a game like War Thunder obviously there will be exceptions or changes based on balance purposes.

yeah war thunder current state is kind of sad, but still
there is some time for the devs to listen to the community for a fix if possible.
These are mouse guided instead of keyboard guided to keep it at 7.7 and usable.
Not sure why you hate one of the worst helicopters in the game so much.
“SACLOS” in-game on helicopters is just a label for controls purposes.
I think the main argument for the simplified controls is that the Weapon Systems Officer (WSO) (the second pilot) controls the weapon while you control the flight. It’s probably a way to simulate that there are more than one human at the controlls.
