Inconsistency in bomb and rocket launch symmetry

Aircraft dumb ordinance seems to have completely random behavior when it comes to drop symmetry, rockets on some planes launch one wing at a time, and on others from from both, and the same goes for wing mounted bombs. Is this based on actual real life? or is this a random thing Gaijin chooses to do to some aircraft and not all for some reason? Because i remember planes that had symmetrical drop in the past and now don’t, and vice versa.

Yes :) sometimes they get it wrong though and players find sources to correct it.

I highly doubt that, you can barely find basic performance info for so many aircraft in the game let alone something as detailed as this

A Majority of aircraft under like BR 10 are so old that the actual manuals are declassified and available in some way or another.

Though I do feel sometimes that it shouldnt necessarily need primary sources. I need to check it out, but I think there is one for the Buc where it drops 1 wing then the other, creating major inbalance in the aircraft

I would tend to agree, sometimes gameplay might be a bit more important than historical accuracy :P

Or just “common sense”

Been a few times i’ve looked at something and gone “It should obviously be like this, do I really need to a source to state the obvious”

But yes, gameplay should also play a heavy factor
