In Naval AB/RB, the "Destroy 10 units" wager is not tracking progress correctly

In Naval Arcade Battles and Naval Realistic Battles, the “Destroy 10 units” wager does not correctly calculate progress and the multiplier. Even if you achieve ten kills in a single battle, the mission will still show as failed and consume one attempt. Furthermore, the kill count displayed in the messages—economics, battles, or ALL interface differs from the kill count in replays and the in-game scoreboard. The messages—economics, battles, or ALL interface seems to not count “critically damaged targets(重创目标已计入战果)” as kills.

Are you getting maps with the convoy AIs (ships that only have the ship name not a player or bot name)? shooting the convoy AI warships doesn’t count, while the AI bots that stand in for players do, which is a pain as it’s hard to tell the difference.

Yes, I think it’s a problem with the AI ​​players. Killing AI players grants normal rewards and counts towards kill counts, but it doesn’t count towards the wager. If this isn’t a bug, they should at least mention it on the wager details page.

It is mentioned on wager PLAYERS defeated.
So in RB you need to hunt 5 Player boats down, it works just as intended.
Unfortunately, if you play top tier naval it is lacking players outside events, so best bet is low tier coastal (2.7-3.3) and you find players.

Naval was changed some months ago to include AI botes for all tasks, including battle pass tasks, regardless of what the task notes say. There are patch notes + official forum posts about it.

It was bugged for weeks, wouldn’t be surprising if there are still a few issues remaining to be fixed.

Yes, but iirc they never mentioned WAGERS. And that is what this thread is about.

I need to correct something: I didn’t destroy an AI escort fleet, but rather AI players who were filling in the gaps in the team due to insufficient human players. They had normal IDs and appeared as players on the scoreboard (although it was obvious at a glance that they weren’t real players but AI players).

Yes, but in the game, they appear as players, and killing them yields normal rewards and counts towards the player’s kill count. They are very different from ordinary AI units. Therefore, I think they should add “AI player” or “robot player” to the target restrictions, because in some languages, the target restrictions are translated as “AI targets” and “players,” which is not clearly expressed in some languages.

I doubt Wagers have any difference on languages, on player or ai targets.
Wagers are restricted to players only.

And reason why Gaijin changed rewards on naval bot players, was because naval has so low player amount, that playing hi tier naval was pain on grinding when Bots gave minimal reward on sl and xp. And without bots , queue times were abysmal.

And if you want to play that wager on naval, best bet to find enough players outside events is 2.7-3.3 coastal or just ground realistic, since you need 5 kills on game on RB for that 10 kill wager.

If gaijin decides to give that wager naval buff , I bet they either nerf the rewards or required kills for that wager, since naval RB and 5 kills is just way too easy
