Python 5 should, but Gaijin we already knows what Gaijin thinks of it…

I fear this will most certainly make these helicopters useless in top tier because all it takes it a couple of ir missiles launched in succession to take them out.

At the same time, spaa that rely on these missiles will go from useless to needed in every round

Wrong, they are animated; you can see it when you switch very quickly through the sights, but it only looks visually toward the POI, and if you leave the Tpod sight, it goes back to the default position.

It works, it is just poorly implemented. As Dontkev said, it only works if you are in the TGP view and quickly switch back to third person, you’ll see the TGP reset back to center, the sight will not slave to a POI in third person.

Finally I can nuke these disgusting DIRCM helicopters Looking directly at you Mi28 and Z10💀 aim9X iris-T Python5 and all the other modern IR missiles are finally going to make heli players suffer for once No more sitting 10 km away behind a magical force field pretending DIRCM makes them immune to physics

Evidence:

In the last like 2-3 seconds you can see how the T-Pod goes back to default position

tbf the TPG should be always be pointed at the POI idk why it goes back to default position
(also idk if its still a thing but the chinese tgp would break in a really fun way sometimes)

Spoiler

the only TGPs that work correctly are those on helis, at least they usually do.

Yes and no, because the sight works only correct of the Heli has a Chain gun

I dont have a screenshot of it any more, but rememebr the bug where the entire front part of hte tpods would turn around?

Ye, what Genises posted above, on some its fixed while other not

Ah yeah, that :D

With Chain Gun

No Chain gun

As we see, the Cam on the H145M moves as much as the Rotor Blades, aka. Not at All xD

Oh look, a easy change that should have come a year ago.
Well at least we’re getting it, but that just means they’re gonna add something even crazier that we’ll need to wait a year or two to get balanced.

So iris-t can just double or tripple tap any helo and there is nothing the helo can do? does pre-flaring do anyhting?

I wouldn’t say easy, but it definitely could have come much less screwed up on initial launch.

good riddance.

Hopefully they get added to NE so i can kill them there
