The Eurofighter completely outclasses the Su-27SM in terms of turn performance within War Thunder. It’s radar and missiles are also better in most circumstances in Air SB.

not an air main but doesn’t the 120s do most of the work for you? the only thing you need to do is spot the target.
you need to guide them in up to 16km
for both spotting and guiding them in with datalink, an AESA would be better
Probably should’ve asked this first. What does AESA accomplish that the current implementation of the F15E’s radar doesn’t?
How is AESA currently implemented?
faster scan, itll update TWS, and as a side effect increase updates on missile datalink, giving it better guidance. should also be harder to notch
AESA will also have longer range than current radar by quite a bit

It would work out about as well as Su-27 vs F-15A worked out for you last time. It would actually probably go even worse.
Is there any aircraft in game that performs like what you mentioned? I’ve been hearing how buggy AESA radars are but not sure if that still applies now with recent bug fixes.
Also does the current variant of the F-15E (IRL) have an AESA radar? I believe there were different upgrades made to the F-15E and were classified as Suit I, II, III, etc. So maybe whatever suit the F-15E, it doesn’t have it?

But IRL, F-15E have have AN/APG-82V1 since 2012
If you have info to back those radar upgrades on represented vehicles bug report it. Just because one nation has gimped radars doesn’t mean another should too
Yeah, I think we have the upgrade modification that occurred before that AESA radar was put into service. I believe the GBU-39 is the youngest weaponry that the F-15E has (in game) which in real life the GBU-39s were introduced in 2006.
Yeah, we might have to wait for a newer eagle with EPAWSS and the better radar

Putting a lot of faith in the bug reports there.
Maybe I am being pessimistic but I will believe it when I see it. Right now the radar just loves locking onto chaff, missiles… practically anything that isn’t the target I am trying to lock in the first place. CAPTOR-M wasn’t the pinnacle of MSAs but it was sure as shit good before AESAs became the flavour.
