Improved Radars for US top tier aircraft

With the addition of the Eurofighter, which will have an excellent radar once its bugs are fixed, and the Rafale, which already has an excellent AESA radar that will get even better once its bugs are fixed, Stuff like the Strike eagle, using its 1979 AN/APG-70, are beginning to fall behind.

Luckily, every US 14.0 or 13.7 has had a radar upgrade program which is not present in game.

As such, in the future, I propose the addition of AESA radars such as the AN/APG-63v3 for the F-15C, AN/APG-83 for the F-16C, and AN/APG-82v1 for the F-15E to give them more of a fighting chance against the EFT and Rafale.

AESA radar has already been added to the game so this should be no obstacle to their implementation.

i do not see how this post is spam. this isnt advertising anything, and its relevant to the topic since it is the topic

Not now ofc, since this would have to happen after both eurocanards get their radars fixed

Not anymore

Maybe strike eagle gets it’s current radar fixed, the the MSIP 2 gets the 63v3 and moved up to 14.0

Would make the F-15C the pure air superiority eagle Gaijin wants it to be

this is the literal definition of “bait used to be believable”

Rafale gets AESA radar, why not F-15C, or F-16C

cause they arent the variant/block that has it, wait for your copy and paste for the AESA please <3 let EU nation players enjoy planes for once <3

F-15C has AESA radar, same with F-16C, and F-15E, they all have AESA radars irl

all later upgrades not added initially into those jets, please get better at baiting

The F-15C MSIP 2 name says it’s from the 80’s upgrade program, but has a 90’s/early 2000s radar and 2003 or later JHMCS, and it’s main weapon is 1991 ARH missile

F-15E has 2000’s JHMCS, it’s name means it could be from either 1988 or 2024, and it has the 2006 GBU-39, and it uses a 1979 radar

F-16C in-game is a block 50, and USAF block 50’s got the AN/APG-83 radar irl

The point is, they are all mashups of upgrade programs, why not throw in another?

Yeah then give Eurofighter AESA too sound fair hah?

But many eurofighter ppl will tell you, once fixed, the CAPTOR-M will be good enough to compete against AESA, and it does have an insane FM

If the eurofighter does start to struggle, which I know it won’t (unless they don’t fix the radar which would be worst case scenario) then it should get the AESA

you know that would just kill the tech tree, right? just no new jets to research only adding things to previous jets. there will probably be a newer F-15C that gets an AESA alongside something like an AIM-120C.

If they are going to add a whole other F-15C I hope they at least add the experimental CFT AMBER racks

US mains try not to complain - impossible

i dont know what that means, dont explain it. but all the us tree can get for top tier is literally just the hornet (useless) and upgraded variants of previous jets. it would be better to ask for newer variants then ask for the radar to be added to a previous aircraft in the TT.

I mean we could get the F-16E too, and some advanced eagle (fly by wire, extra wing hard point) and export strike eagles, but yes, mostly will be different upgrades of existing airframes.

F-15E with AN/APG-82v1, EPAWSS (more countermeasures), and 120C at 14.7 then?
F-15C with BOL pods, AN/APG-63V3, and 120C at 14.3
F-16C with AN/APG-83 and 120C at 14.3

does the 15C and onward not use FBW? in warthunder the A, C and E is def modeled with FBW cause it is way too stable in full controls flight to be not

No, they are mechanical control aircraft, however they do have SAS damping
