Yep, that switch exists solely because the AIM-7F was in service during the F-14’s early life, it pretty much became obsolete once the 7F started being phased out midway through the F-14’s career.

F-15E is faster than both at accelerating.

Su-34’s radar is at best on-par with the F-15C radar. It scans at about the same rate.
F-15C’s radar is literally in the top 5 in-game.
Also Typhoon’s radar isn’t anywhere close to trash.
Typhoon doesn’t use BOL either.
As I and many others have said, it’s obvious you just want F-15s to be OP again rather than just being equal.
Cause the Rafale has more information on it than the F-2, give it time and F-2 will arrive.
And Kfir C10 is an export aircraft which means more information as well, it’s also a hilariously bad aircraft.

Typhoon: 2 minutes 17 seconds.
Typhoon is slower.
Su-34’s radar has a scan rate just like everything else, I know cause I use it.
Typhoon’s false targets were fixed a week ago or further.
Also it appears they switched it to BOL on the statcard.

No, the Saturn engine is PW-220 equivalent.
Rafale doesn’t have 8x AIM-120s, it gets the inferior range MICA EM so it’s more of a WVR aircraft.
Prove that F-15C can use MICA EMs, and F-15C with only MICA EMs and no AIM-120s could get AESA, but not one with AIM-120s.
Either way that’s not the F-15s we have in-game.

fair point about rafale and MICA vs AIM-120, however the F-15C is not suitable for WVR against stuff like EFT and rafale, increased BVR capacity is the best way to keep it competitive in the future, and it is the doctrine it was made for

Again, if you’re in air RB you shouldn’t be dogfighting in ANY jet, not even Typhoon. That’s how you die to a third party, even in Typhoon.
All I’m saying is F-15C/E are perfectly fine, cause they are. They are historically accurate and their performance is balanced for 14.0.

1- That was done prior to the nerfs.
2- They changed F-15E again since I tested and it goes faster again.
Sorry to report that no, the F-15E, with CFTs is not faster, it redlines slightly below the rated airspeed that Percussion Cap posted.
