What?
Well my hands aren’t massive. The previous Xbox controllers were fine. Bad quality, break easy, become less accurate after 12 - 18 months of heavy use, but they were the right size. Ever since 2020 and the Series S/X consoles, the controllers have been smaller/weirdly shaped. I can use it but it’s awkward for some button combos and especially bad for shooter games.
I’d rather have Linux on my PC. Having a PC with windows = lol. Windows 10 is dead next year and if you’re on Win 10 you’re forced to pay a subscription or have no security updates. With Linux I get updates for life, it doesn’t cost. I can also run Linux on a CPU from 2018 and it still feels brand new. There is no need to install third party crap to optimise anything, because Linux is already optimised.
True but there are plenty of games on Xbox, including strategy, simulation and city building. I play Age Of Empires with a controller and I’m not in a hurry to get a PC and then bog it down with slow Windows software and have advertising in the orb menu or whatever. I’m not missing out on anything with Xbox. War Thunder gets great support and there are still many games I haven’t played yet. I’m not obsessed with marginally better performance or having a few extra RTS or sim games. I don’t care about cheaper games on Steam either. I got DOOM 2016 a few years ago for the price of 2 coffees.
The problem is that I have the weaker version of the Xbox. There’s nothing wrong with Series X. I even manage to play Cities Skylines with 70,000 population on Series S lol.
Windows bloat is pretty trashy, though some laptops do come with data expansions. I have 4tb in mine, though you can get 1-2tb for not much.
