The only two vehicles that are $75 for the USA market are the two rank 8 premiums, which were always $75.
Nothing more is $75.
On top of that, the only ground vehicles that are $65 are those that are rank 7, and were always $65 from being rank 7.

Gaijin has never changed their prices to adjust for inflation EXCEPT for the 1000 and 2500 GE options.
Gaijin would do so similar to how DCS adjusts for inflation [their prices went up by $5 - $15 since 2020] if Gaijin wasn’t afraid of community response.

There was notice given to players countless times.
Gaijin has always said rank dictates price.

We’d like to mention that in the past, a general rule we’ve followed is that we try not to change the rank of premium and event vehicles. We do this because these vehicles already had a set rank when purchased or obtained, and increasing or decreasing of these vehicle’s ranks may positively or negatively affect its ability to research vehicles within a tree. But because of the scale of the changes to vehicles in research trees, we’ve decided to adapt some premium and event vehicles to better fit trees. Moreover, we’d also like to let you know of some premium vehicle price changes. We’d like to also note that premium vehicles whose Battle Rating corresponds to the maximum rank will be moved to the maximum rank in that vehicle’s research tree. These types of vehicles will still remain in the regular research tree for all players to research towards if they pique their interest.

USD 75 is excessive. If I can choose which item goes to the bundle (more GE nonprem time. More premtime non GE, no prem time GE only, Prem time only no GE, No GE no prem time) and have the price slashed accordingly I wouldn’t say this kind of vile shit. But gaijin pricing makes no sense and anyone defending it either lick someone’s dirty asshole for living or have a share in gaijin.

Yes, the prices have indeed increased by $5 on almost all the store’s bundles.

I’ll give some examples from the post: The Leopard 2A4 PzBtl used to cost $60 and now costs $65.

Another example is the Chinese Type 96A Prototype 10.0, which also went from $60 to $65.

The Challenger DS also saw its price rise from $60 to $65, and guess what? It remained at the same BR even after the $5 increase.

There was no notice, no announcement on the forums or in the site reports. I couldn’t care less if the price goes up by $5, $10, or even a whopping $50, my friend—what I want is transparency from the company in which I invest both my time and money.

This is something basic for any company. I don’t want to find out at the last minute or on the day of the promotion. I want to be informed about price changes so that I can better prepare for upcoming promotions or if I want to grab something outside of the promotion.

You’re mistaken on many things— don’t gloss over unexplained price increases and the lack of transparency with the buyers/investors. Whether you like it or not, players are considered investors in games since there’s a constant flow of money between both sides.

Edit : Calling your friends to reinforce a point where 5 are pointing fingers, leading the majority to believe it because only 1 is against the other 5, is an interesting strategy.

Just accept that 2+2 = 4 and 2x5 = 10.

Challenger DS is a rank 7 premium. It’s $65 cause it’s rank 7; it was NEVER $60 as a rank 7 premium.
Type 96A, Leopard 2A4, etc are all rank 7s.
There was an announcement last year, you were given weeks of notice prior to them going up to rank 7 LAST YEAR.

So yeah, your post is 100% wrong.
Not sure why you’re upset at Gaijin being transparent and informing players.

Server cost is strongly influenced by power cost, and I don’t know about your part of the world, but here this went up drastically in the last two three years. So drastically actually that quite a few business dependent on a lot of electricity were forced out of business because they couldn’t pay the electricity bills anymore.

On another note. Anyone here still paying the same for Netflix/Disney+ &Co. as 2, 3 years ago?

Amazon kept prices the same for food-assistance people but added ads, and an ad-free add-on for $3.
Netflix is up from $12.
YouTube Premium is $15 now instead of $13.
And Twitch Turbo hasn’t gone up in price but they make wicked profit off of it and it’s cheaper than the others.

For video games: Runescape went up recently as well.

That’s the server-heavy services I use besides Google Drive.
I’m sincerely surprised War Thunder is in this situation let alone keeping prices this stable for the premium account portion.

The crux of the matter lies in the elevation of tier ranks for the vehicles included in these bundles. You have to understand though these are premium vehicles, they are a perk not a necessity. These are also on sale for 50% off once a year ( well after a few updates that is ) and one or two other times a year. So if you dont want to spend full price dont buy them until they are on sale if you really want them otherwise you dont need to buy them at all.

Pc players can play the game and do the battle pass, get coupons for those battle pass vehicles and sell them on the market. Use that money to buy any premiums you want at that point. Currently i have two Iran f-14 coupons. One i did the even for the other i bought with other stuff i sold. holding onto them for 6 months to a year and sell them.

if you dont like the battle pass vehicles being offered you can sell them on the market. You can sell the two BP vehicles even if they each sell for only 10 GJC each thats 20 gjc and its only 16.5 for the 2500 GE to buy the BP with 15 levels giving you a profit of 3.5 which can get you a skin from the market or hold onto it. Most of the time though the BP vehicles go for more so you can typically get 30 to 80 per BP. This gets you the next BP and use the rest to hold on to or buy premium time or GE. Essentially you can play for free after spending 16.5 for that first battle pass.

On your screenshots it’s clearly seen that it’s been a rank 6 plane and now it’s rank 7.
That’s why the price was raised (since, you know, now you can research Rank 8 jets without a huge RP penalty), and it was announced when it happened like already mentioned in this thread.
The same goes for tanks that got the rank increase.
And rank 8 premiums were $75 from the very start.

I do understand that the plane went up in rank. The only bonus for that is being able to grind out higher br vehicles and is debatable if the value of $5 more for the same plane just because it went up by one rank and i dont see the value in going up one rank.

Now with the F-4S, A6E, and the AV8-B being in the same rank as the F-5C. They have a higher price tag, So are is the F-5C underpriced or the other planes overpriced?

If the argument if value, then the F-5C should have stayed at 59.99 even being at rank 7 since it is out performed by other premium planes in the same rank. If you are planning on fazing out the F-5C then just just remove it from the store at the next update and lets all move on. There is no value in the F-5C at this price point. and is just taking up space that can be occupied by something that is more fun to play and a better value proposition at $64.99

The rest of the plane packs you mentioned have 5 more days of PA and extra 500 GE so they’re more expensive. The plane performance has nothing to do with it.

Because of the value of the f-5 brings to the table compared to the other 3 premiums. The F-5 has a RP bonus of 696% and an SL bonus of 1020% with the F-4S having 714% & 930% , the A-6E tram of 696 & 930, and the new AV-8b (NA) 732% & 1020% ( all with premium account time )

Ask any player what would be the best plane to grind out the USA tech tree and they will all point to the bomb truck F-4S. This will let you hit bases to get the most RP out of the match due to the way the reward system is currently implemented. This also gives you the option to get into fights or do both in a match. the F-5C also gives you this option but if you try to bomb a base with it your performance is greatly hampered and unless your lucky that match wont make it to the base or the f-4’s will have already taken them out by the time your close. On top of that you get a higher RP bonus and even if the f-5 has a higher SL bonus you will get more SL using the F-4S

I understand the the performance of the premium planes for sale dont matter to the developers when choosing a price point, but the people who buy them it matters. The F-5 has no value in the position it sits at and gives no reason for anyone to buy it other than they just want an f-5 with a premium bonus or they are a fan of the f-5 and just want it. The 5 more days of PA and 500 GE are not and will never be the determining factor on which rank 7 premium plane to buy. It will be price to performance that will make people choose one over the other.
