History
Tsukushi is Japanese first survey ship (測量艦) completed in 1941. This ship was designed for survey missions at frontline area.
She was completed just after the Pacific War started. Because of it, she dispatched to Philippines immediately to support main force. After survey was completed, she joined landing operations of Manado, Kendari, Makassar, Bali, and Jawa. Especially, during the Dutch East Indies campaign she fought against 4 American destroyers who survived the Battle of the Sunda Strait. In this battle, she intercepted these destroyers with 21th destroyer squadron, but finally US destroyers succeeded to escape to Australia.
After Southern Operations were completed, she engaged survey missions, but since 1943 she also assigned for escort missions.
Finally, she was sunked near Kavieng (Papua New Guiana) by naval mine during escort mission.

This ship will be heavy armed gun boat for battle rate 3.3-3.7. The fire power of this ship (4x 12cm AA gun) is superior to destroyer Mutsuki or escort ship Syonan.
It cannot equip torpedoes, but these cannons with high rate of fire will be very useful in game.
Also, seaplanes on such small ship seems unique, and some player will be interest to it.
