I’ve seen people that wanted it to go to Israel which has more reason than to go to Sweden. What was their reasoning?
to be fair, there is a difference between realy needing stuff and there being other options, germany would be in need of another plane options. But sweden has plenty future tank options that dont require trial mbts

That a good portion of the tree is straight up a copy-paste. How many 2A6FIN do you see in comparison to the German 2A6s? Not much I imagine, why tho, because nobody will grind a new TT/sub-tree just to get a slightly different looking MBT that’s been in the game for 3 years by this point unless they main that TT. This is why I fear BeNeLux would just end up like Italy/Israel with barely any players, there would be no incentive for people to grind and spend money on it when they can just pick Germany or Sweden (both of which also have more to offer).
Personally I wouldn’t mind BeNeLux, but I also don’t see it working out due this reason. This also completely ignores BeNeLux would have like a 99% chance to be shafted by Gaijin’s balancing methods of just looking at stats, and many of their vehicles ending up overtiered.

No I get the reasoning for Israel because of the turret I mean what did the Swedish came up with in terms of arguments?

It’s a fairer way of looking at things than I’ve seen most people do.
I would have to say that Leopard 1V does differ in things such as the FCS and to my knowledge the M47 you circled also had some bigger improvements, though I can’t remember off the top of my head what it’d be.
Admittedly, despite how vocally I defend the Benelux concept, I still wouldn’t feel much towards it never becoming a thing.
What I mostly hate is the idea that it’s just pure copy paste of Germany, which is too wrong to ignore for my taste.
Plus I hate the French and German sub-tree concepts, as neither countries require it whatsoever.
It’s mostly the frustration towards ignorance than it is me being in love with the Benelux concept.

my argument to that always is, that UK out of all countries didnt need one either, they have just as much vehicle and history with tanks as any other of the big 3
I wholeheartedly agree with that, but the difference is that UK was missing it’s fifth line and thus had space for one. France and Germany already have five lines in ground and aviation works differently enough from ground so it doesn’t require a fifth line, though France could receive one there eventually.
Unfortunately it is a liberty Gaijin took and now we have to deal with a lack of iconic British light vehicles.

We cannot assume such feature to be implemented until we see it.
It’s hardly different from coming up with fantasy concepts like artillery mode.
We must work with what we have and we don’t have these “tab-trees” to call them so.

Unless it’s a modification that matters in the game (thermals, ammunition, engine maybe) then it doesn’t really matter. FCS as it stands is a very rudimentary concept in WT, so far unexplored and likely will never truly be so, 1A1A1 & 1V being different in terms of FCS is really non-important. Not sure about the M47, but it’s likely in the same boat.

I just think Dutch or Danish F-16s should go to Germany due to how anemic their future is looking, but this thread is about IFVs so :p
