Yes and no… the TOW is infinitely more useful in the long range maps, especially since you get more than 4 of them. Raketen 2 HOT is much much better than a Marder in a long range map.
IT-1 can fire oncthe move and has a stabilized sight, but it’s the outlier.
IFVs pretty much only win in the braindead CQC maps like Sweden.
This wasn’t always the case. Before the TOW nerf, I would have easily taken the M113 TOW over a BMP-1 any day. Of course, even back then - people were uneducated and idiotic as usual so they don’t really comprehend how the TOW launcher is meant to be played.
Today, after the various missile tracking nerfs - the M113 TOW is utterly useless. But the high BR has stayed because Gaijin is extremely slow to respond to their own changes. BR changes come very slowly and it can take years for a vehicle to be put at a BR it deserves, sometimes never.
Why not just get more boxer variations? Idk but im fine with the cv90 on my germ line but id rather have more vehicles that are actually german.
Wouldn’t mind seeing more Kazakh vehicles, we have the Su-25BM so far.

The Mbombe 8 isn’t Kas though it’s Za with 57 being added to it by a Kas company but you do you

It’s manufactured by Kazakhstan Paramount Engineering so it’ll be an event vehicle for the USSR and possibly other variants of the Mbombe for Britain, the Barys is a localized variant so it doesn’t belong to South Africa.

Ill say it because some people are afraid to say it but the bmp 3/bmd 4 are under br’d alongside the 2s38 and the bmp 2m. Ive played almost all ifvs around that br and im tired of people thinking they are fine where they are. The bmp3/4 are easy 9.3-9.7 but i disagree with them being the same br as the type 89 ,type 87 rcv, vbc pt2, and cv9030.

I quite like the AV8, I’d hope it could be paired with the PT-91M as potentially a subtree for Poland but I’m also biased
not so sure about the BMP-2M, besides the fact that the fuel tank sometimes eats shells and takes 0 damage, never really considered it a threat in my matches as the missiles are kinda meh
Or maybe i’ve just gotten really lucky with it
For me ive had some great matches with the gun alone, the missiles are nice but the mobility and gun just make that thing a flank n spank demon
Yeah, I can’t help but agree.
And the moment we get a truly long range map like the new… Tunisia? I forgot the name, it’s a bigger version of the desert map with a shallow river running down the middle, people immediately complain that indeed there is long range combat and they can’t drive to the capture zone in a whole 30 seconds.
