This is why CAS haters are ignored by Gajin.

I love CAS, I have every single strike plane available spaded for RU and GER, even bought the su39 for the better TV missles over the TT variant and goofy radar. I have the pars heli in germany too.

CAS is not balanced all outside of like sub 5.0 GRB and 7.7-9.3 where SPAA actually threatens them. The only thing that kills a good CAS player is CAP or getting too greedy with your attack runs. Mamy players my self included just opt to suicide when we run out of ammo, since spawning back into a tank immedietly is more fun than spending 3 minutes rearming and climbing.

CAS is relatively balanced from 3.7-10.7 (basically, the beginning of autocannon SPAA to the beginning of AGMs)

In spite of this thread and the many others on the forums. I do sometimes question the CAS problem, at least a little.

I just unlocked the Tracked Rapier and deciced to spade it in GSB.

First 4 matches, nothing, not a wink, no helis and no jets.

Then I get a game with both, totally stock 4 air kills (should have been 5 but a heli tanked a hit and RTBed)

I know GSB is a little different, and im not saying there isnt an issue, but I do find the irony that when I try to play/spade an SPAA, there isnt any CAS and then when there is, its not a major threat :P

Much different* especially at the BR you’ve played.

That’s the one of the problems.
One game you might not see anything and get bored.
Next game you might see something that outranges you and you’re still bored.

Here is replay where CAS player jump into his CAS and start killing the entire team and keep spawning CAS after repeatly shot down.

If you think that’s insane, then it just confirms even more that CAS players truly have no idea how easy they have it or are acting willfully ignorant to how bad it is for the health of ground battles.

Ok, so you want:

  • No player markers for your teammates
  • No scout markers
  • Let SPAA scout planes (as if SPAA gameplay wasn’t braindead enough)
  • An insanely dumb delay on spawning in
  • Remove CAS discount for scouting tanks (for no reason at all)
  • “rebalance” airspawns so you have to fly further (ontop of the spawn delay)

And ontop of all these insanely dumb nerfs, you want spawn cost for CAS to be INCREASED, and CAP (which is already far too cheap) decreased?

No wonder Gajin ignores yall.

  1. They get birds eye anyways and higher tier thermals for easy viewing.
  2. See first point, but if not put it on a radar blip instead of having the flasher.
  3. That’s kind of already a thing with the voice callout, but there’s already random times they’ll pop up on map, do you know why? Is it a close to enemy airfield thing?
  4. It is not enjoyable seeing a Yak 9 with 1 assist 1:30 into a match.
  5. There should be no discount on the superior force of arms if there is no discount for the Ground in GRB.
  6. Man the airspawns for top tier literally just let them drop their ordinance and leave right away.

Also CAS is too cheap, CAP is maybe 100sp less?
