This is it, the f3h is better at sparrowing than the phantom C. Not only it is one of the best dogfighters below rank 8 (despite those trying hard to convince you of otherwise, no, rate-fighting is not the only way of dogfighting) it also can use radar below clutter. Had it been an F-4E and it wouldn’t have had a single chance.

Look, mate. F3H used to be 9.3BR before supersonic compressed BR like hell, and it might be a decent 9.0BR jet, but a full BR nerf?
In fairness for this. Aim-7C have gone from easy to evade with or without warning, to extremely hard to evade even with warning and not a lot has an RWR at that BR, so you might have no warning at all.

This is a rare Mantis post that actually has some basis of fact. I dont think 9.7 at least would be totally unreasonable right now. (Tbh, ive always considered them under BRed and thought 9.3 would have been better for it) I have no idea how you could actually play something like the Lightning F6 at the moment because I doubt you would survive for very logn with the normal high alt tactics
F4C has a better radar, better missile, & better flight model.

I might agree if the nerfing was done step by step, such as 9.0->9.3->9.7
But claiming a direct nerf straight to full +1.0BR, and claiming ‘F3H is better at sparrowing than F-4C’ seems wild and beyond my borderline to agree with.
