In fact, you are the one who doesn’t understand. AGM84 is only an anti-ship missile, and AGM84E is an air-to-surface missile. In fact, AGM84E just thought that his man-in-the-loop mechanism was denied.
The United States should always have the strongest CAS options present ingame.
Haha, what if we use agm65 to fight 95ya6 and kh38 to fight 146?
My post never commented on AGM-84 class of missiles, so it seems your post replied to the incorrect post.
95ya6 can easily intercept agm65, but 146 is much more difficult to intercept kh38
yes
The Su-34 does have a thermal imager but it’s limited in azimuth because it’s a retractable one between the intakes, while it doesn’t have the full effect of a thermal imaging pod like the SAPSAN-E that should be on the Su-27SM and MiG-29SMT (i’m very salty they chose to implement a 9-19 instead of a 9-18) it is still a thermal imager.
they have just same lock range data.
and you can explain how a GPS guided thing equal to IR guided missile
tbh we dont have any confirmation that kh38 is on the su34, yes we saw kh36 but thats a different thing
Then I think you can also explain why dual-mode guided sulfur can only use lasers
Data? Reality? If you have played it, you will know that it is basically impossible for AGM65D to lock on a moving target at a distance of 10km.
However, even if the target is locked, the AGM-65 fired from 10 km away will have difficulty keeping up with the target at 20 km/h.
KH38 obviously won’t
I have used the agm65 a lot. I launch them from up to 12km out without issue.
Of course cluttered maps with many trees will limit the lock range. But they can lock out to maybe 14km in clear weather on an open map.
Also no aircraft can attack from further than 20km away
apparently no one has heard of the laser guided variant of the KH-38
Well, leaving aside the problem of not being able to lock on due to cloudy weather, the AGM65, launched at an altitude of 2,000 meters at the maximum speed of the F16, would take more than 40 seconds to fly 12,000 meters.
The KH38 is launched at a subsonic speed at a lower altitude of 1,800 meters and can fly 12,000 meters in just 23 seconds.
Are they the same? Are they the same difficulty to intercept? Are they the same pressure on the anti-aircraft vehicles? Oh and don’t forget that the 95ya6 is much better than the vt1
I dont have my missiles intercepted enough to really see this being an important factor.
6 agm65s will usually get me 3-4 kills. 4 kh38s usually get me 1-2.
This is why i run agm65s instead of kh38s when i have to do the grind events.
America have the best all round everything, and getting a stealth bomber before, literally everyone else.
Su-34 doesn’t have a thermal targeting pod, and KH-38s will still be 20km
Pretty sure the SU-34 has integrated FLIR on the same level as found on the SU-25SM3 so not having a targeting pod isn’t a issue - should be on the underbelly of the aircraft if I recall (did a bit of research on the SU-34 like 4 years ago so my memory is a bit foggy).
The FLIR in real life has the ability to stick out in a way and retract which is a cool feature, doubt it’ll be modelled however (probably will be in a fixed place).
To you, all Russian weapons are not that powerful and have to be lower in the weight scale, right, like you said about the 2S38,For novice players like you, I think it’s better not to discuss game weights. You are unfair and have no foresight.
The KH38 can be launched at a height of 2,000 meters and 14 kilometers, while the AGM65 must be directly above the battlefield and has no high-throw trajectory. If there is no height and speed advantage in the actual launch distance, there will not be much hit rate at a height of 8 kilometers or 2,000 meters. There is a high probability that it will hit the main armor. You have the nerve to say that they are missiles of the same level.
@Angelsmile
Speak for yourself not for others.
Me: “2S38 should be 0.3 BRs higher.”
War Thunder: Moves it up by 0.3.
Your post can claim that moving up 2S38 is unfair all you want. Keep defending the 2S38 and KH-38, all your post is doing is proving NATO players correct.
AGM-65D/G has fragged almost all targets I’ve fired on.
Su-34 6 kh-38 🤣😂😅
Even at Russian forum everyone shoked
